It snowed while we were on our tour and we were able to take our time and enjoy the narration. The ability to pause and go at ones own place allowed us to register and catch all the details!

Easy to download and follow the navigation. The narrator has a nice voice and keeps you engaged. It's a nice walk, no issues walking to the stops.

App worked on my phone but kept crashing on my wife's. Also directions were inaccurate to get me to the starting point so I had to use Google Maps. Once I was was there the directions were accurate. The history was fun. If I go again next year, I'll research the history of the sites I want to see and just use Google maps to navigate my way around. Owner did offer me a refund.

The WalknTours app was easy to use, easy instructions to get the tour downloaded. The tour itself was accurate and well done. Price was right. Would definitely do another one.

This was the highlight of our stay in Salem. There are really two Salems. one is a commercial glitzy shops and such and the other is the actual history of the town. This walking tour left us feeling we understood the when and some of the why's of what happened here. Well worth the price

The self guided tour was great! Since you go at your own pace and listen to it with earbuds/airpods you can hear everything it tells you in the tour. Much better than a huge group with a tour guide that either talks too fast or not loud enough for the entire group to hear. It also gives you time to get to the next stop before it starts telling you about it. I would definitely do this again on another trip. Definitely recommend!

I definitely recommend buying this. Went at our own pace and it was informative! We were able to pause easily and return to right where we left off. Worth the money for sure.

Skip the stuffy, crowded tours. These walking tours give you a chance to see what the town has to offer and out-of the-way places that you can go back to later. You need to start at the beginning of the tour. We had to backtrack to get back on the right track. Very cute tour...on a full moon to boot!
