Private guided hidden gems tour by local English speaking driver

Exactly what I was looking for in a tour! Passionate guide, great locations and easy to coordinate with! Traveled with my family (5 people), and the whole experience was a highlight of our trip!

Taka was an amazing tour guide, so knowledgeable and friendly! The tour was fantastic, we went to so many different sites and had a great day to see Fuji! This is a must do tour, highly recommend!!!

Our tour with Taka was a highlight of our family trip to Japan! We had a family of 6 (including 2 kids and 2 grandparents), and Taka tailored the tour perfectly for our interests, abilities, weather, and timing. He was great with our 5 year old and even spent extra time with us to take us to an awesome playground after the tour! We loved hearing his stories and insights and came away with wonderful memories and photos. He also generously shared great recommendations for restaurants and activities during our visit. I cannot recommend his tour highly enough!

Our Mount Fuji - Kawaguchiko tour with Taka was one of the highlights of our trip. Taka was flexible with timing and destinations while providing a fun-filled adventure full of his knowledge and passion for the area. Highly recommend that you add this tour if you are staying in the area and want to add some hidden treasures to your itinerary, along with the more traditional touristy things you will be doing there on your own.

Informative, warm and friendly guide and what I saw included all the best nature has to offer. Stunning views, waterfalls, forests, shrines, etc.

Our original Mount Fuji tour, which we’d booked about six months in advance, was unexpectedly cancelled — and I didn’t realize it until the day before. In a bit of a panic, I started searching for a last-minute alternative… and that’s how we found Taka. What an incredible stroke of luck! Taka picked up our group of six adults around 8 AM and comfortably fit all of us into his van for a full-day “hidden gems” tour around Mount Fuji. The weather couldn’t have been better — clear skies and stunning views from every angle. Taka was friendly, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable. He shared personal stories and fascinating insights about life in Japan, and he took amazing photos of us throughout the day. We loved the experience so much that we extended the tour by two extra hours. What started as a stressful scramble turned into one of the highlights of our trip. We couldn’t recommend Taka enough!

We had a great experience with Native Fuji! We couldn’t recommend more. Although visibility wasn’t great to see Mount Fuji. Our tour guide still made it a wonderful experience, missing all of the crowded locations and seeing some of the hidden gems. From the time of booking he assisted in getting train tickets and our many questions. He was even willing to drop us off at a location that worked best for us. Book this tour, you will not regret it!
