Bob (with one B) was our tour guide and was hilarious and knowledgeable. He shared ghost stories from around Salem as well his own experiences.

Such a fun time! Our tour guide was so kind, took us to some great spots, and told the best stories. It was a fun experience for everyone! We really enjoyed it and highly recommend, totally worth it!

The experience was amazing. It would have been much better with a different guide. While sharing personal experiences are great they shouldn’t over take the tour.

The tour was amazing. We were able to explore areas of Salem that we never would have ventured to on our own. Our tour guide was so fun and entertaining while also sharing the history of Salem and its haunting.

Absolutely amazing experience again! Tour was an hour and a half long, and every minute was not only informative and entertaining, our guide was cracking dad jokes left and right and made the night even better. He knew his stuff, and made sure that each stop we could clearly see what was being explained and also told us where we could find further information if we wanted. Highly recommend, not only for the affordable price (lowest in Salem fyi), but for a pleasurable experience that’ll have you saying “maybe I do believe in ghosts”.

Salem in October is busy and almost everything requires a ticket to see or experience. We were excited to attend this ghost tour and learn history and some of the dark side of history on this tour. Corinne was kind and patient, but mainly told personal stories and forgot to turn on her mic most of the time. With all the history in Salem, would have preferred listening to more historical stories than personal stories of a glass going across the room whilst inebriated.

The tour itself was nice and the tour guide Glenn was great. In all honesty I wouldn’t recommend it and if someone wanted to do a ghost tour I’d recommend any other. Those groups looked like they were having more fun. I also wasn’t a fan of the guy who gave us our stickers at check in because something went wrong with purchasing through Viator that he didn’t have my group on his list and after I showed him the confirmation he was annoyed we were a group of 5 and made it seem like a problem we gave him our service to go on this tour. He had an attitude with Viator “always doing this to them” and even was talking to another worker about how our group of 5 had tickets and we aren’t even on his list. It just gave an uneasy feeling at first almost like our group was a problem to him.

Our tour guide Al had a good sense of humor and obviously knew his stuff. Good stories is not heard before because it wasn’t all about the witch trials. But he had no mic pack and kept turning away from the group at the ends of sentence so it was hard to hear. It would also be great if he were a little more animated, creepy, less of a monotone pitch. Really nice guys though! And covered a lot of ground!

- Traffic and parking can be very difficult and October is much worse with "LA Level" traffic. Give yourself extra time to get here and park no matter what your GPS is telling you. Check our website for details on where to park and options to get here..
- Our public walking tours can pose challenges for participants with mobility and accessibility concerns. Tours are 90 minutes long and about one mile in length. Each participant must be able to complete the one-mile tour within 90 minutes, providing for frequent stops to view sites and for information from the tour guide. As Salem is a historical city, there are narrow and uneven sidewalks, bricks, cobblestones, and stairs. During events and festivals (and particularly October), with crowds and street vendors, the streets can become difficult to navigate.
