3 Hour Swim with Manatees in Florida

Worth every penny. Best time to go is during the winter as the manatees gather in the sources to get warm water. I saw 30+ manatees, swam with them. The swim was plenty long to get a lot of time with the manatees.

We had a fabulous time on the tour. We saw dozens of manatees, including moms with their babies. Having them swim so close to us was amazing. Our tour guide was Eli, and our captain was Brody. Both did a wonderful job of telling us about manatees and the local area. They made the experience great.

Great company with everyone being so nice and welcoming. We couldn’t have gone at a better time. The amount of manatees was insane. I had a baby try and play with my wetsuit lanyard and put my hand in between his front flappers. He wanted to hold my hand. I was waiting for him to kiss me but came to me twice to play. It was so special. The only thing I wish happened was we got pictures of us with the manatees. Main pictures were just manatees. But if you get a chance to do this, this is the place. ❤️❤️❤️

This was one of the coolest and most unique experiences I’ve ever had. It’s like being in an aquarium but in the natural world. This was absolutely amazing. Pro tip: go in the early morning sessions and the colder out the better, that means more manatees. You will adjust to the water temp very quickly with the wet suit they provide.

Neal and Aidan took us out on the 7:00 a.m. trip on 1/4/26. We didn’t know what to expect that early — it was dark, chilly, and foggy. We arrived about 10 minutes early (plan to arrive 15), watched a short video, got into our wetsuits, and by the time Neal drove the bus for the short ride to the pier, it was already brightening up. Aidan captained us to the swim area (about a 10-minute ride) and explained all the protections in place for both us and the manatees. We put on our snorkels and hopped in. The water feels cool for less than a minute… and then WOW. There were manatees everywhere. Neal stays in the water with the group, and you simply float (with a noodle) while manatees sleep beneath you in about five feet of water, then swim under and around you. It’s absolutely incredible. You feel safe and comfortable the entire time, and the boat is always close if you want to get out. We had so many sightings — the manatees came right up to us and even gently gummed the rope on the boat just inches away. They are adorable. Neal and Aidan were outstanding guides. We HIGHLY enjoyed this experience and will absolutely be coming back!! *bring towels, layers and flip flops/slides)*

Did our tour with guide Neal and captain Aidan. Very friendly, thoughtful, and thorough and made sure that we all had an enjoyable time. Some of us had to stay on the boat and Aidan was very accommodating, offering us hot drinks, flying his drone so we could see the manatees better, and talking about a lot of the wildlife here, not just the manatees. Very educational and special because we got to see one up close nibbling the rope for the anchor and checking out the boat ladder. Amazing and would 10/10 do this again.

It was a awesome time! I will never forget it!! They really are gentle mermaids, just a little chubby, LOL!! We love them!! Great Captain and great guide, not only a great experience. Our hats off to Captain Brody and our guide Eli!

Guide Kaitlyn and Captain Aidan were kind, knowledgeable, and fun! We were very lucky to see so many manatees on a warmer day in December (low 60s). The provided wetsuits kept us warm throughout, but getting out is the coldest part. The boat was protected from the cool breeze after we got out and hot drinks were provided as well. 10/10 experience that we would love to repeat in the future. Thank you!

Unforgettable and absolutely magical! Captain Chaz and guide Neil were both very knowledgeable and wonderful. They were fun, patient and passionate about manatees and conservation. We will definitely be back!!

The swim with the manatees was amazing. Highly recommend. The water was fine and not cold. The air temp was 38 and we didnt have any issues with being to cold. It was a surreal being able to encounter mantees in their natural habitat. Highly recommend.
