We are very pleased with everything on this boat trip. We went to places that was not too crowded, we got plenty of time for canoeing, relaxing and for swimming. We had an incredible time with Cat Ba Ventures. Our guide Ben was awesome. He did everything he could to make sure everyone had a great time like getting us to the best kayak spots before all the other groups. He’s great at answering any question you could have about trip while in Cat Ba or where you should go next. I recommend this cruise more than the “luxury” cruises offered in the area. Ask for Ben you are guaranteed to have a great time!

We had an amazing trip with Ben - he is the best! We did a 2 day tour including a transport from Hanoi by bus for 11 USD/person, then they organized everything for us on a boat. We had an amazing group of people, just felt like family after the two days. The cabin for sleeping is nice and comfy, there is a shower, slow wifi (which is enough for relaxing ;) ), AC. Food was prepared by the crew and mainly fresh seafood, fruits, rice. We did nice kayaking trips on both days, you should be able to do some exercise. Also swimming at the beach was possible. Ben was the perfect host, you could ask him everything, personally, about the country, about his life, about other life's, amazing. Highly recommend him, stunning views in the morning and the whole day made this trip unforgettable and the best experience of our whole trip.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience on our trip with Cat Ba Ventures! Hang was an exceptional tour guide—he was very knowledgeable, professional, and funny. He made every part of the trip smooth and was very thoughtful about making the best guest experience. For example, he had us start earlier the second day so that we could go to particular caves before the tide went up. We especially loved kayaking through the caves and swimming in the lagoons, and that Hang took us to private spots without other tourists. The food was delicious too. I would definitely recommend it!

We booked the 2D1N trip anf it was really nice. We haf 2 days of great weather and quite little other tourist boats. They really choose good spots with little other tourists. When went kayaking twice from the boat and always were alone in nature with the group. We were a group of 17 and had a really outstanding guide called Hang. He spoke perfect english, explained everyrhing, showed us the best places, performed some really entertaining magic tricks and was just overall a great guy. On the boat, you get your own room with a bathroom and food is also included.

We loved our cruise! It was the highlight of our time in Cat Ba/Lan Ha Bay Area. Our tour guide Ben was awesome- friendly, very knowledgeable, funny, and welcoming. We really liked that the cruise was personalized - with only 16 passengers, you get to do small group activities and get to know one another. The cruise boat had everything we needed- private bedroom and washrooms that were honestly some of the nicer accommodations we stayed in. The food was great. I would highly recommend this instead of doing a Ha Long Bay luxury cruise as we went to less touristy remote areas, not surrounded by other ships to have a better experience!

Spectacular landscapes, well organized and the promise of a less touristy experience was fullfilled. Our guide Hang was providing lots of information about the area and the wildlife and is also funny guy with a good connection to our 3 year old son. High recommend going with Cat Ba Ventures! They also organized a fast and smooth transfer to our next destination Hanoi.
