Lan Ha - Ha Long Bay 1 Day boat trip - Kayaking from Cat Ba, avoid the crowds.

The trip was really good. We went to deserted spots without other touristic boats. Our tour guides, Tony and yoan the local fisherman (not sure if this is the right name) were very very friendly and very communicative, we loved all the explanations and personal experiences they shared with us. Totally would recommend.

We did the full day, 08:30 - 5:30pm Our guides where great, nowledgeable and funny. As where the captain and crew. The food was delicious and plentiful 🙏 We sailed around, visited the fishing farm, went swimming, anchored and had lunch, went kayaking, sailed around the Isles a little more, was offered fruit snacks It all went seamless We loved the whole day and had a great time Thank you for creating a really joyful day❤️

Starting from Ben Beo Port our boat took us to the local floating fishing village and a fish farm to show us the local fish of the halong bay. After that we went for a swim in a nearby bay. The swim was followed by a really delicious lunch/buffet with plenty of seafood as well as good vegetarian options. After lunch, we were brought to an island in halong bay, were we explored the lagoons insidy by kayak. You can only enter the inside of the island (the lagoons) by kayak through caves, of which one was 160m long. After the kayak tour, we went back to the bus and enjoyed the sunset from another beautiful bay between the rocks. We basically spent the whole day on the water, either on the big boat or in kayaks or swimming. It was a really lovely experience, the best tour we took during our 3 week trip through Vietnam. It is very well paced - no stop seemed too long, never felt we rushed or that we needed much more time. The title also seems to be true, as we never were within big tourist crowds (apart from the fish farm maybe) and it did not feel like a typical tourist tour at all. Bot of our guides, Hang and Kong were super nice and explained a lot about the nature and culture. During our drive home after the sunset, Kang even showed his entertainer skills with some cool magic tricks. We can only highly recommend the tour!

Wonderful day trip with exclusive access to some cool lagoons off the beaten path via kayak. Lunch was delicious and they were very careful to check with dietary preferences and separate people accordingly. We learned more from our guide Tony (Tuan) about Vietnam as a whole than we had the entire rest of our trip. Our other guide Hien was also very kind and welcoming, and had unique experience showing us around the fishing villages having grown up in one. Would highly recommend!

Such a great tour!! I’ve been traveling Vietnam for 2 weeks and Tony was the most informative tour guide I’ve had. I learned so much, Tony and Hien took great care of us. Views were beautiful and food was delicious. Highly recommend!

My cousin and I really enjoyed this trip! We appreciated all the knowledge of Tony and Hien and the fact that we didn’t see any other tourists. Really a unique experience!

The tour with Toni and Hien (local fisherman) were great. We got a lot if interesting details about Lan Ha Bay, Ha Long Bay and the vietnamese culture. The lunch on board was very good. During our Tour we went to places, where no other boats were. :)

although the weather wasn't the best we spent a great day with a small group of 20 people together with our guides Tony and Hien. Besides cruising around the stunning bay and super tasty food, our guides told us some insides about vietnamese lifestyle and history, which I personally enjoyed a lot !! kayaking trough the caves was really cool - the slightly rainy weather gave it a mystic touch somehow :) It was a great experience, thanks again to our guides, the staff on the boat and Cat ba Ventures for a day me and my boyfriend will remember :)

Hang was a great guide and kept our spirits bright, despite cloudy weather. We felt very secluded from other boats, and the vatios felt special - a swim to the beach, a kayak through caves to hidden lagoons. He also had some personal touches that I really enjoyed, like playing a bamboo flute he made himself, and magic tricks at the end of the day. I am usually allergic to to tours, but this one felt different from your typical group tour.

They also accommodated us from the cruise ship, gave us a huge bottle of water, provided us with special bags so we could bring cameras kayaking. The food was really fantastic and our late afternoon snack was fresh pineapple and bananas. The weather was fantastic even for December. Not one mosquito but watch out for jellyfish.
