From Bariloche: San Martín de los Andes by The 7 Lakes Route

Beautiful area but Too long and monotonous .Bariloche tours refused to Pick us up as contract said ..

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. However, the bus was very small and uncomfortable. I was the second-to-last person picked up from my hotel, so I ended up in a seat in the last row where I could barely see out the window. Since the whole trip was about the scenery, I didn’t get to see much at all. The price was also much higher than what other local travel agencies offered with their big, comfortable buses.

Guide was ok but he had a lot more to say in Spanish than English. We expected more insight to the area. It’s a long day otherwise.

This tour requires a lot of driving at very low speeds. The 7 Lakes route to San Martin de Los Andes goes through wild country and makes a few stops to take photos. The guide and driver were prepared and punctual. The views are pretty, but the drive was a bit too long.

Hugo is an awesome guide. The other reviewers said it all. Highly recommend even though a little exhausting. Excellent service. Check out the other options they offer for trips as well.

If you’re looking for a low key event but want someone else to drive, this is the trip for you. Beautiful scenery and a nice stop for lunch at San Martin de los Andes. If the food trucks are open I recommend eating there for fast service and expense. Restaurants on main strip are pricey and quality lacking.

One of the best tours!! The host, Cinti, was fenomenal. Her readiness level is very high. She was very thorough , friendly , and with a lot of experience of the history of Bariloche. Recommend her 100%. My wife and I had an excellent time.

Heads up. I booked and paid for the English speaking tour only to be told the day before the tour only the Spanish speaking tour was available. I agreed as long as I was refunded the difference in the price. Still waiting for the refund! I wasn't the only person on the bus in this situation. Nice views but couldn't understand the commentary.
