Penang: Flexible 6-Hours Highlights

Our guide, Jeff See,took us around Penang both to sites we requested and locations he felt were interesting to us. He answered many questions about history, culture, and contemporary issues in Penang. He also helped us with learning how to navigate ourselves using the Grab app. Everything was adjusted to and accommodated my family’s interests and offbeat questions. Nothing was rushed and our small needs like bathroom stops and lots of time to take pictures were facilitated. We were picked up at our home stay in a comfortable SUV with AC; water bottles were provided. The only non inclusive expensive was the funicular tickets. In addition to our selected locations—Penang Hill and Kek Lok Si—we were taken to clan houses in downtown Georgetown and several small temples…the Daoist one was especially interesting…and all of it was both interesting and beautiful. Mr See was very eloquent about the layered history of this region and we came away feeling we understood Penang far better than we did from the guide books.

Great trip, Law was very interesting and took us to some great places even on a very busy day in George Town, Penang !! Would recommend the trip for a great daybout !
