We had a great guide who explained everything. We got to see a about 8 elks an eagle in its nest, as well as a bear that came right up to the bus and stayed there eating berries. We than had a boat ride with gorgeous scenery around us.

This was a fabulous wildlife tour. Our guide Jake went out of his way to help us see as much wildlife as possible. On the way to Maligne Lake, we saw a couple herds of Elk, including 2 bucks, and some white tailed deer. At Maligne Lake we went on a cruise to Spirit Island. When we arrived at the Lake it was very overcast and actually started to sleet. But as we arrived at Spirit Island, the sun came out and the views were spectacular. It was a lovely way to spend an hour and a half on Maligne Lake. After leaving Maligne lake , we saw Medicine lake, again fabulous views, and during the course of our tour we say 2 osprey and their nest , and we got up close to a very old Big horned Sheep and his harem. We got so much information throughout the tour from Jake, that made it all the more special. Would highly recommend this tour especially if Jake is the tour guide.

Best tour of my Canadian Rocky Mountain trip. Our guide, Jake was the best! He was knowledgeable about wildlife, lakes and falls, wildfires and answered every question I asked. Strongly recommend this tour and especially Jake as a guide.

This tour was amazing! Catherine was an excellent and very knowledgable guide. She accommodated needs and was genuinely excited when we spotted wildlife...especially the Moose. Would highly recommend this trip.

The driver guide is very good, the boat cruise is excellent! But I did not receive any information about the pick up time until I called you to ask about it!

Due to weather cancellation for the cruise we went wildlife viewing and hiking in the forest in the snow. I think it was a bonus cruise was canceled as I had the best day. Guid Jake was great hiking in the snow

Tour of a lifetime. Sam was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. Great views. Lots to see. Vehicle with big windows on both sides. Guide on boat cruise was also very good.

Awesome tour of Jasper and Lake Maligne. Sam was terrific: very knowledgeable, pleasant, polite, and accommodating. Our tour guide’s Sydney and Jordan on Lake Maligne created an enjoyable atmosphere , shared just the right enough of information. Perfect day!

- Important Note regarding Maligne Canyon Waterfalls: Due to damage caused by last summer’s wildfire, access to Maligne Canyon is currently closed by Parks Canada for infrastructure repairs to ensure visitor safety. If these repairs are not completed prior to your selected tour date, the short walk to view waterfalls in Maligne Canyon will not be possible. In this case, the tour will proceed with a slightly altered itinerary, offering alternative stops to showcase the area’s unique beauty. This includes a visit to Maligne Lookout, where you can view the dramatically changed landscape from a high vantage point, and additional time at Medicine Lake, featuring a short walk along the shore for stunning perspectives of the lake surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Please rest assured that the tour length and price remain unchanged, and the overall experience will still provide incredible opportunities to explore and learn about the Maligne Valley’s natural wonders.
- To request complimentary pick-up from your accommodation, please specify which hotel you are staying at. Pickup times vary therefore your exact pick-up time will be confirmed upon booking.
- If you are staying outside of Jasper, please specify Jasper Downtown Location - at Two Brothers Totem Pole across from Parks Canada Information Center on Connaught Drive. Your meeting time will be 15 minutes prior to your trip’s departure time. All-day parking is located in the parking lot.

- A small amount of walking is involved. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

However, as mountain weather can be unpredictable, participants should bring a rain jacket or umbrella and warm clothing to wear during the outdoor/walking portions of the trip in case of inclement weather. * We have a short break for lunch at Maligne Lake. There is the chance to purchase lunch at the Maligne Lakehouse restaurant, although during peak season (July-August) there can sometimes be long lines.
