Jasper National Park Tour: Maligne Valley, Medicine Lake and Spirit Island

Yvonne is the best! She is very knowledgeable and has plenty of stories to share with us. My family and I enjoyed this tour. It is one of the highlights of our trip to Jasper. Ask for Yvonne when you booked the tour.

We had a short stop at the top of Magline Valley and then at Medicine Lake for photos. Then we had a boat tour from Maligne Lake to Spirit Island. The tour guide was very informative and the boat ride was very pleasant. We had some time on the area around Spirit Island where the views are really beautiful

Had a fabulous tour with Abbey visited medicine lake saw a moose’s snout and Ospreys and we kept well informed enjoyed the lake trip with Capt. Liam and our guide Julienne. Really enjoyable and would recommend

We had such a great time with Yvonne as our guide! Beautiful weather, range of wildlife sightings (elk, ospren, eagle, marmot), fun stories, and stunning stops! The boat cruise to spirit island was amazing too!

Great Tour with our driver/guide Warren who was very knowledgeable about anything you needed to know. The scenery at Maligne Lake and Spirit Island was out of this world - and Nelson & Michael on the boat were superb. We didn't come across much wildlife - but the landscape certainly made up for it. Well worth booking.

We had a great tour with our guide Yvonne. She was funny and knowledgeable about the area and the wild life. She spotted mountain goats and elk. She made sure we followed the park rules and laws and all kept respectable distance to view them. Unfortunately there was another tour company most likely illegally run and allowed all their passengers get out the vehicle and went to harass the elks. We would highly recommend to use the viatour-affiliated companies as they respect the privacy of the animals and follow the laws of the land. And still allow their customers to enjoy the nature and its beauty.

Our guide (Yan) was very informative and easy going. The tour was great as he stopped at various points and explained what we were looking at. The boat cruise was great. On the way back we saw sheep, goats and a grizzly stopping along the way so we could take pictures. Overall extremely pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
