Absolutely amazing! From the moment we were collected, Aaron made us feel welcome. From seeing Cassowaries and their chicks to trying local fruits and medicines to having the best guide, it couldn’t have been a better day. Aaron helped me feel comfortable enough to hold a Peppermint Stick Insect and swim in a fresh water creek in the oldest rainforest in the world 🌴. P.S the trip to the local ice cream was great! 🍨

Aaron was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable and such a friendly tour guide. Me and my partner learnt so much from him about the Daintree Rainforest and the local aboriginal culture. The Lunch was also great where we got to try many local exotic fruits. 10/10 Ps. Can’t forget the Cassowary and chick sighting!

What an amazing experience our cultural adventure was with Walkabout. What made our trip extra special was our fantastic guide, Aaron, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a good one, from pick up from the hotel to the end of day. Aaron’s cultural knowledge of plants and creatures is impressive, informative and fun, and his engagement with all of us on the tour was super cool, relaxed and friendly. Aaron often stopped the minibus to show us things we would never have noticed especially when tying to find the elusive Cassowary male and babies, which amazingly appeared as we were leaving the rainforest. We had an amazingly, awesome day, and would highly recommend Walkabout as the best tour team to use for cultural, informative, fun adventures. Many thanks for our enlightening journey, James and Karen 😀

This was worth every penny. Aaron was the best host we could have asked for. Picking us up, dropping us off. He gave commentary the whole time on Port Douglas which is where he’s from. The social economics of the area and the natural beauty of it too. Aaron didn’t just do what was on the itinerary but added lots of extras. Deffo a highlight.

The guide was really engaging and was great at explaining the wildlife and the landscape. He tried really hard to find a cassowary for us.

We had a splendid day with Chaseley. It was very informative, interesting, beautiful, varied and fun! We did get to learn about the Kuku Yalanji people; though, humbly, we understand there is so much more to hear end learn. Hope to come back for more! Thank you for making our day!

This was a fabulous tour. Our guide Aaron was friendly and very knowledgeable especially about indigenous use of rainforest plants and bush medicine, showing us fascinating details that we would have missed ourselves. A highlight was swimming in a freshwater creek. Highly recomme

This tour was the highlight of our time in the Port Douglas area. Get ready to experience stunning natural landscapes, visit a local organic farm stand, hear family stories, learn about the Kuku Yalanji people and their connection to the land, go crab hunting, and be cared for like family. Chase, our guide, looked after us so well—making sure we were fed, hydrated, and comfortable, while also answering all our questions with patience and insight. I’ll especially remember the meaningful conversation I had with her about our lives. Thank you, Chase.

It's a more laid back trip with Aaron who is the best guide ever. He kept us informed hydrated we'll fed and gave us a wealth of information on bush medicine. We highly recommend this tour. We were able to go at our own pace and Aaron made sure we saw the Cassawary and crocodile. Best trip ever for us. Thanks

It was one of the best guided tours I've ever had! Guide shared his tradition knowledge of using plants in everyday life and in healing. I learned so much, also about the animals and insects. Guide was really friendly and showed us everything he could, he even did some extras in looking for cassowaries. He was the best!
