Ushuaia: Train du Bout du Monde & Parc National: Aventure Inoubliable

Le parc est un site assez beau et agréable mais ne vaut pas nécessairement le déplacement comme la ville d Ushuaia d'ailleurs . Le train du bout du monde est un attrape touristes sans aucun intérêt. Un avertissement : tout est horriblement cher un peu partout ...

Les commentaires de la guide étaient sommaires, approximatifs et sans vraie plus value. Il manquait de connaissances ou de vocabulaire en anglais.

Parqué à 6 dans de tous petits wagons, le tour en train est selon moi un attrape touristes, bien trop cher pour ce que c’est. Le reste de la visite était plutôt sympa, notre guide a essayé de nous transmettre un maximum d’info. Mais si c’était à refaire, nous aurions louer une voiture ou nous serions rendu au parc en taxi pour faire la visite par nous même, il y a plein de chemin de randonné pour tous niveaux, qui permettent sans aucun doute de bien mieux découvrir ce beau parc !

Le parc est très bien et il est à faire pour ces nombreuses vues sur montagnes, lacs et glaciers. Par contre la visite donne trop peu de libertés pour visiter. Et meme s'il y a de nombreux taxi pour revenir en ville, les conseils des guides et il faudrait plus d'informations sur la navette qui parcourt le parc.

L’excursion devait être en anglais et il a été entièrement en espagnol. Le point de départ et d’arriver devait être le même On m’a pris en charge à mon hôtel et on m’a laisser au centre ville

It's important to understand that this excursion has two components: a bus component and the train component. In our case, the bus took us into the national park where we spent about 3 hours touring the various trails and lakes. Then the bus took us out of the national park to the train station where we caught the train which took us back to the national park. From there the bus picked us up and took us back to our starting point. While on the bus, our tour guide was great at sharing with us the history and background of town and the park. The train ride itself is kind of goofy. They spent quite a considerable amount of effort getting you to buy the pictures of the passengers with the prison inmates (characters in costume). Touring the town and national Park was great. The mountains and lakes are quite majestic. But I'd probably skip the train ride next time. BTW, separately, you need to buy a ticket for entrance into the national park. You can easily do that at the park entrance with a credit card.

This should have been much better than it was. The park is outstanding. The tour operator was below average. Most of the 14 people on the tour only spoke Spanish. The tour leader was definitely speaking more to the Spanish speaking people than those who only knew English. The first hour was driving around town picking people up. The time at many of the stops was short. The guide was not very well organized. At the stop that was intended to get something to eat, the guide is telling us there is a restaurant, a free museum to check out and a gift shop. As the bus is still making its way to park, he tells us we have 20 minutes from that point in time to return to the bus. I spoke to the guide about this and he reluctantly added 10 minutes. Viator needs to reevaluate this tour company.

Train trip was very nice, very organized. Guide was very good. The park is so big and we only had a short time to explore due to ship departure time. Well worth your time
