Bukhara: a Unique Indian Food Experience at ITC Maurya

During our recent trip to Delhi, we had the pleasure of dining at the legendary Bukhara — and it absolutely lived up to its reputation! The ambiance was warm and rustic, perfectly complementing the rich North Indian flavors that Bukhara is known for. We tried their signature dishes like the Dal Bukhara and the Sikandari Raan — both were phenomenal. The food is cooked in traditional clay ovens and served in a no-frills, authentic style that really highlights the ingredients. Portions are generous, so come hungry! The staff were attentive, courteous, and happy to make recommendations. Dining at Bukhara is more than just a meal — it’s an experience steeped in tradition and flavor. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Delhi!

We visited this restaurant on our second evening in Delhi, having been here a number of times over the past few decades. It is still as good as ever. The service is professional and attentive, the ambience fun and the food is brilliant. It cannot be faulted. We also had a lovely experience being seated near a table of people who were wearing beautiful purple scarves presented to them as they entered. When we asked them why they were special it turned out they were linked in some way to the restaurant and kindly they arranged for us to also be given these beautiful scarves. What a lovely and generous surprise and a perfect end to a perfect dinner in wonderful Delhi.

One of the best restaurants in the world; there is no comparison of Bukhars Food, and above this, the service and courtesy by the staff. We had a lunch with friends, and we were hosted by Mr. Vinod Dondiyal, What a person he is, polite, polished, courteous, and his service added the additional pinch of flavour to the food. He is an asset to Hotel. Other staff was also great.

Our experience at Bhukhara for dinner was fantastic. Myself and my guests from Charlie foxtrot aviation, Vista Jet (Airlines ) were all delighted and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Excellent food in the luxurious Bukhara Restaurant of ITC Maurya. The ambience is awesome, the cuisine wonderful and staff is extremely courteous and well behaved. A perfect package. The Front Desk helped in reservations and guidance. Special mention to Ms Garima Bhalla for her cheerful and caring demeanour and professional conduct. Must visit place for special occasions.

The food was awesome. But the service topped it all. COVID safe precautions, personal attention,a complementary cake for my parents anniversary! Bijon took extra care, great service!!! Great ambience!!

Amazing food and service, especially by Rahul. Best mutton raan I’ve ever eaten. We went there on an extremely crowded night, and Rahul and some hotel staff made sure we found a table and served us hot, scrumptious food.

Me and family visited Bukhara and had a great time like we always did pre-Covid times. But the food was amazing as always! The restaurant and the hotel took all precautions and measures for safety and social distancing. The staff that helped us: Siddhant Tyagi (Manager), Chengha (Hostess) and Vinod (Server) were very helpful at all times. They provided us with extra masks when we were leaving and helped us sanitize before we entered. We reserved our table through Pravin Mathur who made the booking experience very pleasant for us. The Dal Bukhara and the Butter Naan was something that our family had been really craving for!

Amazing food, service and very interesting decor. It gets filled in quite fast i observed. I was single and not sure what to eat. But they have solo set meal, which is a combination of 3 kababs, choice of bread, Dal Makhni and choice of desert. Loved the Dal Makhni. Chicken and Lamb kababs were good but I would say they stand apart from similar restaurant. Ambience is quite good. Service is excellent. However price wise I think it's quite expensive.

Amazing food ,Specially dal makhani and chicken tikka. MUST VISIT for some authentic food. Service is really good
