Bogotá Unveiled: Monserrate Peaks & Candelaria Secrets

Our family of five enjoyed a fantastic morning in Bogota with our guide, Esteban! He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and we saw so much in a half day tour. Esteban accommodated all of our requests and ensured that we arrived at the airport on time. We hope to return to Colombia and will certainly choose Hansa Tours and Esteban.

Esteban was very knowledgeable and gave great background history into the areas around the city. Also, he knew where to spend more time and focus on when hitting the various sites. Highly recommend using him as a guide!

Another great private tour with Melissa A. and driver Santiago. Started at Monseratte with express tram pass before crowds followed by Lacandlearia and Botero Museum architecture and art tour with a coffee tasting in between. Ended in Bolivar Square to observe a national event. Highly recommended.

I did two different solo tours with Hansa with Melissa as my guide and was very impressed by the timely and clear information I was provided. Everything was done as planned. I arranged this trip last minute for my son and I. The booking process was incredibly smooth and easy. Then we got really lucky. Our guide, Melissa, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. They had arranged fast pass access which was a time saver since we went on a religious holiday. Melissa was so informative about the history of the various parts of the city we were passing through as well as the flora and fauna we were seeing. She was sweet, funny and patient with us wandering. As we moved to La Candelaria she was a wealth of information but also fun. Despite getting rained on for half the tour, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had during my month in Bogota. 10 out of 10, I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Spent an amazing learning experience with Esteban. If you want to know all the details of what you will see, Esteban is a fountain of knowledge. Many thanks to him, we have learned a lot in just a few hours.

Took the tour on a Friday, day started nice but rained in the afternoon. Took a private tour, it is worth it because the guide is just attending to YOU and no one else. Anyways, went up the feniculare on Monserate hill. View of the city of Bogota was spectacular. Once on top, you get to visit an old church, there are shops and Cafes and even a nice restaurant with a million dollar view. BTW, our guide Camilo is the best, if you're lucky enough to have him. He knows a lot about everything and anything about Bogota, he explains it really well. After ascending the hill, we went to the Candelaria section of the old city, we went to taste a variety of local fruits, walked around the neighborhood....went to the museum of arts and the Botero exhibit. Bolero is a famous local artist/painter. Had lunch at a local restaurant, LA Puerta dela Cathedral, specializing in real Colombian food. Continuing to the Plaza Bolivar, church of San Francisco and last but not least, Museo de Oro. It started to rain really hard but stop in a couple of minutes...good thing we were inside the museum of gold. Ended the day on a golden note. Thanks to our guides Camilo and his driver Carlos. This tour is highly recommended 👌.

Melissa was excellent, very knowledgeable about history. She gave detailed information about all the neighborhoods and the museums and monuments. Her knowledge of flora and fauna is very extensive, she explained all the different fruits and local foods in detail, we highly recommend her

Our tour with Sebastian was amazing! He provided lots of information on a variety of topics and asked us about our interests and other plans and customized the tour to maximize our short time in Bogota. It was wonderful and we enjoyed our time with him so much! He clearly had a passion for showing people all that his city is.
