The van was not what we expected from the description. It was older and very loud. The driver skipped Melk all together. Pointed out the abbey as we passed. That was disappointing, because we kind of wanted to visit the abbey. When we got to Hallstatt, he dropped us off and told us to do the skywalk which was a horrible experience. It was 90*, we were crammed in a funicular with too many people and no air for too long before it started to move. Then we had to walk 10,000 stairs up, down and around to get to the skywalk… a short extension over the lake, and that was it. It was absolutely not worth the price or our time. This took so much of our time. The scenery from the shore was prettier up close. By the time we reached Salzburg, we were starving. And because we spent so much time getting to the skywalk and back down, we didn’t get to spend very much time in Salzburg which, hands down, was the best part of the trip. We were rushed through town as shops began closing their doors. It was rather disappointing.

Wonderful day with Mohammed! We enjoyed this day so much! Everything was perfect. Mohammed was amazing and we just had so much fun with him. We left the day with a new friend , well maybe more like a new family member. He cared for us all the way and made sure we knew all the history of the places we stopped out. Would highly recommend!

Me and 5 friends did this tour and honestly was such a good way to see so many sites of Austria! Our driver Mohamad was awesome too, had such good communication. Would recommend this as a day trip to see more of Austria in limited time!

The trip was perfect, I would rate it 10/10. Mohammed was our driver, he is so informative and kind. The itinerary was flexible and we managed to see everything we wanted to. Mohammed made sure we were comfortable during the whole trip :) I would recommend this trip for anyone looking for a lovely day trip from Vienna.

This trip was the highlight of our vacation. I never thought I’d actually see Hallstatt in person—it was even more beautiful than the photos. Melk Abbey was a big surprise, so impressive. And Salzburg felt alive with music and history. Loved every minute.

What a fantastic day! Starting with the stunning abbey in Melk, then the fairytale village of Hallstatt, and ending in the musical city of Salzburg absolutely perfect

We wanted something more personal than a group tour, and this was exactly it. Great balance of guided time and free time to explore

Long day but it contains many beautiful sites. Our guide Nico had many good suggestions. Definitely worth the money!

Melk was our first stop, and it was the perfect start to the day. We admired the abbey from a great viewpoint before heading out on the road. I was so thankful we didn’t take the train the cost is high, and you’d miss the scenic drive. Our guide knew exactly where to stop in Hallstatt for the best photos, and the Skywalk was breathtaking. In Salzburg, we visited Sound of Music filming locations and explored the old town at our own pace. Lunch was amazing, and we never once felt rushed.

We began our day in the charming town of Melk, where our guide gave us a short but fascinating introduction to the abbey and the surrounding area. Thankfully, we didn’t take the train not only is it expensive, but we would have missed all the incredible scenery along the way. From Melk, we enjoyed a beautiful drive through the Austrian countryside to Hallstatt, stopping at secret spots for photos. The Skywalk was unforgettable, with sweeping lake and mountain views. In the afternoon, we headed to Salzburg, visiting Sound of Music filming locations before exploring the old town. Lunch was at a local gem our guide suggested. Everything was flexible and tailored to our pace.
