Unforgettable Hallstatt Skywalk: Vienna Day Trip to Alpine Gem

Excellent organization. Sofia the tour guide was great too. Also had to change the tour date last minute and they were super efficient and helpful.

What a spectacular experience! Everything was smooth as far as hotel pickup and meeting back at the bus after stops. The guide was incredibly funny and smart and I learned a lot about the area that I never would have known. This was one of the best tours I’ve taken and I’d gladly do it again. Just perfect from start to finish! Playing the Sound of Music movie on the way back was so fitting and I loved it!

Great day trip to explore the Vienna surroundings. The tour was very well organized, and tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Great excursion to the castle on the lake and Hallstatt. Our guide Dasha was very experienced and knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting. It was a long day but a few stops helped and the scenery was great. Hallstatt was lovely as was the castle on the lake, a trip definitely worth doing, well done.

The day trip to Hallstatt was elevated by Sophia’s great guidance and story telling. She was very sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. The short stops on the way over felt a bit rushed, but were nice choices and well spaced along the route. The boat ride was a small loop across the lake and back, offering nice views and warm gluhwein, but not too much in the way of a tour. Hallstatt has a 3 hr visitor time limit, so there was just time for a bit of lunch, a small walk around town, and to see the sweet churches. Very crowded as there were a number of tourist buses there together. Coach bus was clean and comfortable.

Hallstatt was beautiful. The guide was so-so - a lot of talking on the bus and many of the jokes weren’t funny. The first comfort stop was mayhem. We had 30 min and were told to grab a snack but we ended up waiting in line for 15 of that so it was stressful. We also couldn’t eat on the bus. I don’t feel like the boat ride was worth 25 euros and the drive back was really long. We also didn’t learn from the guide that the bathroom vouchers gave you a discount if you bought something. I’m glad I went but wished it had been shorter with less people and less talking. The music that was played was lovely though and the bus driver was incredible.

Long day but a great day. Hallstatt has incredible scenic beauty. We were so lucky to have huge, fluffy snowflakes!! Town looked like what you see in a snow globe. Sofia was our tour guide and was great.

This was a great trip to see Hallstatt, a picturesque town situated on a beautiful lake surrounded by snow capped mountains. Our guide, Sabrina was great and made sure we had plenty of time to explore the town. If you decide to take this tour I highly recommend taking the boat trip. It was a fun full day trip and I am so very glad that I added this to my travels in Austria.

Trip is very well planned out. Our tour guide Sabrina was wonderful and pleasant to be around, with great music and history of Austria. Driver was safe on the road and felt comfortable in a snowy weather conditions. I can’t recommend the team enough! They’re kind and friendly people.
