Too bad Cascais is part of this tour. First off, Viator does a great job with their tours. We use them all over the world. But I feel like they added Cascais to this tour just to get to 8-9 hours for a full day tour! Cascais certainly seemed like a total bust from everyone in our group.

Carolina always had our best interest in mind to make our tour unforgettable and enjoyable. Her love for this area was so obvious.

It was a very good tour and the guide was excellent Unfortunately the weather was really not helpful. Rainy and windy and since it’s tge end of November and both Sintra and Cascais are summer destinations it was hard to really appreciate their beauty. This tour in the spring or early summer is most probably much more enjoyable! The Pena palace was the highlight but again a challenge because of tge weather

A little bit of everything that's special about the area. Our tour guide was wonderful. Pena palace is the highlight.

Carolina is the best….charming, informative, caring, and a hell of a driver in the pouring rain. Couldn’t have been with a better guide! The whole trip was fun despite the weather. Highly recommend

We had a great time with our guide/driver Kathleen. She was very knowledgeable and clear in her story telling way of introducing the various tour location. Definitely recommend to take this tour.

Great experience even in torrential rain. Carolina was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable, kept us excited about the history even when the rain and wind were soaking us. Would have loved to have seen Pena in drier condition but even so it was mystical.

We really enjoyed discovering the beautiful town of Sintra on foot and tasting some delicious local specialties from a bakery recommended by our guide, who was very knowledgeable about the area. Another picturesque highlight was a brief but memorable stop in Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Portugal (and continental Europe), with its beautiful oceanside cliffs and lighthouse. Cascais was also lovely, and we had an amazing lunch at Jardim dos Frangos, another local spot recommended by our guide, which has been there for decades. We had the grilled chicken sautéed in olive oil and garlic, which we hadn’t seen at other churrasqueiras and was very tasty. (Cash only.) This tour included an interior and exterior visit to Pena castle, which was beautiful, but jam-packed with other tourists. The views from the castle are spectacular, but keep in mind that it can be extremely crowded and difficult to follow the interior tour route at your own pace. Overall, we really enjoyed our day – it was a great way to see two can’t-miss spots outside of Lisbon, without needing to rent a car.
