Unforgettable Ancient Rome & Volcano: Pompeii & Vesuvius Tour

Isabella was a terrific guide with so much knowledge. It was a long day but covered so much and a lovely lunch. The coach was on time and communication before the day was spot on

The tour is great but the group is too large to keep together, especially in a crowded area. Our guide, Isabella, did an awesome job waiting for everyone to catch up and to see various sites at Pompeii. We missed some sites on the itinerary because there were too many other groups in the area, but we saw others that weren’t scheduled. Isabella was excellent at explaining what we were seeing and adding depth to the discussion. I can’t really review the Vesuvius part of the tour as the weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t see anything. But we had the opportunity to walk up to the crater.

Tours are very time specific and are not altered based on individual delays. However, when we experienced delays in meeting our tour group ( due to canceled and late trains to meeting point) the company was very responsive and communicative to our questions and attempts to catch up with the tour when we were able to join. The company coordinated the meeting point and kept in communication with us to the extent possible to follow up with our joining the group! Additionally, Roberta, the tour guide, was welcoming, informative, and extremely knowledgable for the part of the tour we were able to be present for!

Excellent! The tour was well organized from the meeting point to the end of the tour. Our tour guide was very informative. At the end of the tour of Pompeii we had time for a tasty lunch at the restaurant at the site. We were quickly seated in a reserved section for our tour group. Pompeii is a do not miss historical attraction. Our tour also included a visit to Mount Vesuvius. However, the weather changed from hot and sunny while touring Pompeii to very foggy and rain. We did drive to the site of Mount Vesuvius but it was closed for safety reasons. A disappointment but it was due to nature and not anyone's fault. We were quickly reimbursed part of the tour price.

Angie our tour guide on the bus was so knowledgeable and funny. And Luigi was our tour guide around Pompeii and he was amazing! It was a thoroughly great day, thank you so much!!

Our day didn't start too well as the meeting point was missing from our confirmation. It just said no 91 and the piazza name. We received a phonecall to say we were going to be late. Fortunately we were close to the Starhotel Terminus (opp train station) and found our guide, off we went. The day was excellent and very informative. About 3 miles of walking around Pompeii followed by a steep hike up Vesuvius. Trip of a lifetime, well worth the time and expense. Our daughter (7) enjoyed it too!

The tour was perfect.. Roberta provided great insights in Pompeii. She also provided good recommendations for Napoli.

Pick up and drop off from outside Napoli Centrale Train station worked al for a 8 tour of Pompei Ruins (very crowded) and delivery to Vesuvius base for coaches and access to a walking climb to photograph into the Volcano and the surrounding seascapes and Napoli from a great vantage point.
