Our trip and the provided Lunch was excellent and (Connie, Remigio and Leo) made sure we had a smooth visit to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius.

This has been a bucket list tour for me and having looked at all the tour company options, I'm so glad I booked this one! It's not easy keeping a diverse group of travelers on time with different age groups, languages, and walking speed, but our tour leader Connie along with driver Remigio pulled it off! After being picked up at the first meeting spot, we picked up the rest of the group and headed to Pompeii. We were fortunate to have a pretty sunny day where Pompeii guide Leo gave us a clear picture of what life was like in the city before the fateful eruption. We then drove minutes away for our nice lunch at the restaurant. Those with the wine option ate at a separate area of the restaurant, while the rest of the group enjoyed our indoor lunch which included a salad, spaghetti pasta with a tomato sauce, and dessert. It was a perfect meal before driving 45 minutes or so and walking up Mount Vesuvius. We were fortunate to have a dry day, but was a bit overcast to see far out into the waters. It didn't matter because the main attraction was the active volcano where you can see steam coming out. The walk up is about 25 minutes and there is are two nice little beverage/snack/souvenir spots. One just after reaching the top and the other just after reaching the top. We had a good 2 hours which let you take your time once you reached the top. I've been on a few 'all day' tours and this one didn't feel long at all, as the lunch breaks up the two main attractions nicely. I highly recommend taking this specific tour and if you could not go wrong with the World Tour team of Connie, Remigio, and Leo- grazie a tutti!

The tours, the scenery were 5 star; but within 12 hours , they've changed the meeting place back and forth twice then she changed our level of the tour and said we can cancel or keep it and get 30 euro refund per person. But after the tour, she said that we have to reach out to viator to get the refund ourselves. They can't do it on their end. So it was appropriate for the options we had . It's the principle that we were forced to upgrade and paid more money then we got a lower level tour without getting the refund an easier way. Very disappointing !!!

I picked the tour because going to Pompei and Vesuvius from Napoli looked like a hassle. And it was a good decision. The day was smooth and very well organized. My bf and I went with Connie and her team. Connie was really nice and clear about the schedule. The tour guide at Pompei was also super informative and allowed us enough time to look around at the sites he was showing us. We saw and understood what we saw, which is essential in Pompei. The ride was a bit too bumpy for my taste, but that is the fault of the roads and not the driver. We also sat in the back of the bus, which I regret now. The food was also plentiful, with possibilities to eat and drink at the top of the crater. All in all, I definitely recommend this tour and the team of organizers. Great job!!!

We had an excellent tour- the logistics were perfect, and our tour team (Francesco, Remy and Tomasso at Pompeii) were all excellent and knowledgeable. The guided tour at Pompeii really brought the site to life, and helped us understand what we were seeing. Lunch was delicious and had amazing views. The hike at the top of Vesuvius was also fantastic, but dress warmly! It gets chilly up there. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour over trying to do this all independently- the ease of getting on the bus and going, and having all the tickets and lunch pre-arranged was totally worth it and allowed us to get so much out of the day. Great tour, great guides and driver, and great value.

Tour guide Mery was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Driver Johnny got us to locations on time and comfortably in the bus. The Pompeii tour was interesting and wish we could have seen MORE. We will be back! The mid day lunch was excellent with amazing views of the city and sea. When the volcanic tour got cancelled due to weather Mery took us to a scenic spot instead and made sure our day ended on time, adjusting the tour to fit everyone’s needs. Highly recommend!

The main tour guide was patronising and treated us like children. She didn’t give us much information about what we were doing and where we were going although the Pompeii tour guide was ok. We had to wait a long time for our lunch and overall I didn’t think the tour was value for money.

Really lovely experience with Connie (our general tour guide) and Leo and Remigio (one our driver, the other our guide through pompeii, I'm so sorry I can't remember which one's which!) Pick up was clearly outlined and they made sure to get everyone, Connie was very excited and chatted a lot about what we were going to see She made sure to drop us off with the tour guide for pompeii and helped explained what we would do and where to meet after, the same with Vesuvius. The tour guide was really well informed and put a lot of effort into pointing out the different stories of the history of the place; he clearly loves his job and his excitement was very infectious. Lunch was really great, and I got three glasses of wine for the tasting. Our driver was also very friendly, and got us to all our places quickly and safely. Would definitely recommend! As others have said, make sure to wear good walking boots!

Our guide, Connie, made our experience so amazing. She was kind and made plans for the day very clear. The tour itself was also great. Seeing Pompeii and climbing Vesuvius is a perfect combination!
