Jose Luis was amazing! So knowledgeable and friendly. This honestly is such a great day trip as it’s close to Madrid and covers both Escorial and the valley of the fallen Highly recommend

The English of the tour leader was pretty average. She seemed to give more information in Spanish than English. She also did not ask one of the participants which coughed consistently to wear a mask or give him one to wear. The Valley of the Fallen was impressive.

Excellent yesterday morning/early afternoon tour at El Escorial and Valle de los Caidos. We left on time from Madrid for a pleasant 50 minutes drive to El Escorial first. Our guide did an excellent job of giving us information in both Spanish and English. We visited many rooms with beautiful artwork. Especially notable were the frescos, the crypt and the library. We then drove to Valle de los Caidos, 20 minutes away. Separating out the politics as to why they were built, the statue and the basilica were very impressive. We couldn’t stay long because there was going to be a wedding, but we did get to visit the inside of the basilica. Again, excellent tour, bus driver and guide!

Our guide Jorge was excellent. He spoke in Spanish and English. Very knowledgeable on the history and subject at hand. Our driver Manuel was also good getting us to and from our destination.

The tour was great, so was the tour operator and guide. The place was a bit overcrowded and I would have liked some space to be able to appreciate the art a bit more instead of having two groups competing for space.

The tour was informative but the Valley was way too rushed. The bus ride could have been peppered with a little more talk

We really enjoyed this experience. Be careful if you want to see the valley of the fallen because it doesn’t go on certain days. We really enjoyed the monastery by itself and it was very informative. And you do get to see the valley of the fallen from afar even if you don’t get there on the day you pick

It didn't include the Valley of the fallen. Read carefully what they offer you, as in the tour's name it says El Escorial and the Valley of the fallen, while the Valley isn't included on some days and you get it after the payement is processed. 70 dollars per person to visit Escorial is way too expensive and doesn't worth it. Totally disappointed
