Lovely, albeit chilly morning spent at the Tower of London. Started with a tour given by one of the resident Yeoman Warblers (also known as Beefeaters), Emma. She was really fiunny and informative. The Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom are housed here and an awesome sight!

Beefeater409 Scott Kelly receives kudos and a standing ovation for his entertaining and enthusiastic yeoman tour this morning. I would definitely recommend visitors ask to see if he’s giving a tour the day they visit and see if it works out to be on his tour. He’s loud enough to be heard easily, highly entertaining, and inclusive of everyone. Thank you! Way more fun than the audio tour (which I’ve also done in the past, and is fine) — the yeoman tour is included w the ticket (whereas the audio tour is not).

I recently visited the Tower of London and it completely exceeded my expectations. I thought it would just be “another historic building,” but it turned out to be one of the most interesting places I’ve visited in London. There’s so much history packed into one place — from the Crown Jewels (which are even more impressive in person) to the stories about prisoners and executions that honestly gave me chills. Walking along the old stone walls and towers really makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. One of the highlights was the Yeoman Warder (Beefeater) tour. The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and made the history come alive with dramatic and sometimes dark stories. I’d definitely recommend joining one of those tours if you can. The ravens were also fascinating to see up close — I didn’t realize how big they are! The whole site is well organized, with plenty of signs and exhibits explaining the history in a way that’s easy to follow. I’d suggest allowing at least 2–3 hours to explore properly because there’s a lot to see. It does get busy, especially around the Crown Jewels, but it’s absolutely worth it. Overall, the Tower of London is a must-visit if you’re in London. It’s historic, atmospheric, and surprisingly engaging. I’d happily go back again.

Seeing the London Tower was a great experience. I was amazed at how larger it was and how everything had been constructed.

Throughly enjoyed what I was able to see, but the overcrowded, pushy visitors in areas were just too much! On several occasions I was nearly knocked over (Crown Jewels, prison area, narrow passageways and several others). Most of these encounters were from French speaking tourists. What’s their ax to grind?

I booked this on day of travelling and the price was fantastic as it included the entrance to Tower of London and the Crown Jewels

The group was excessive. They had canceled the previous one and we probably had them all join ours. Impossible to hear the beefeater.

Loved the tower! There's so much to see and learn! Also loved the ravens.

The Beefeater tour was fantastic! Our guide, Nev, was very informative and delivered info with a wonderful satirical wit. Most enjoyable guide!!

A fantastic family day out, lots of information and if you can take advantage of the Yeoman Warder tour this was free, an excellent cafe with lots of choice. Things to be aware of, lots of steps and cobbles and uneven ground, comfortable footwear essential.
