Geneva's Iconic Gems: Breathtaking 1-Hour Lake Cruise

The paddle steamer was amazingly restored and it was great to see Geneva from the lake. Unfortunately while there was a bar on the boat there were no drinks available and the audio wasn’t available so we never got to know anything about the city and the surroundings towns. Still a nice way to spend an hour

This was a sweet way to see Geneva. You have to download the app and bring headphones to listen to the audio guide but it was informative and a fun way to spend an hour, especially on a rainy day.

Went on the CGN operated ‘Geneva Tour’ cruise. It’s a 1 hour loop tour. Some of the advantages: Ticket included in Geneva City Pass so no extra cost. Plenty of capacity but seating was probably 80% occupied. Boat left on time (but took 10 mins extra to dock for some reason which meant we missed a connection). You should note operating hours in October are very limited. Issues: We had the same problems as most re the audio. We got the instruction of how to connect to WiFi. As a visitor from EU I had no data roaming included for Switzerland, so was dependent on WiFi. But I could not connect. However my wife could and managed to download the App. But when the boat left the App immediately required an update only available via WiFi which was not available for the entire boat journey. For either of us. So no audio unless you had full data roaming via mobile networks. I think the WiFi was only available from the sales office location and not on the boat. I would not do this tour again unless I was guaranteed audio.

No audio on board. It was a pretty ride but very boring. Very misleading when booking, the title does not match what you get.

Great experience but the audio never happened. Apparently you have to download before getting on the boat. I never received any instructions to my knowledge about this. The trip was great but we had no idea what we were looking at.

Very relaxing hour on Lake Geneva. It was £19 each, but if you have a Geneva Pass then it would be free. It was easy to book at ticket at the Mont Blanc pier. We went on one of the hottest days of the year and inside was a lovely temperature. It was a very smooth ride and very relaxing. We were sort of expecting some sort of audio guide, but there wasn't anything on our trip.

Very tourist UNfriendly. No information given, no instruction,, no headphones. Very hot and no aircon or air circulation. For a guided tour, there was no ‘guiding’ Difficult car parking, not enough seats.

Too many steps and questions to connect to audio. Spoilt the trip and what else is there to say. Ridiculous to have a minimum characters to review

I enjoyed how easy it was to make a booking. The overall boat tour is also stunning. Couple of things that could have made it better, when you copy & paste the address to go to, it takes you to a pharmacy about 600 meters from the meeting point. I then figured out that you need to click directly on Go To Google Maps, thankfully I made just in time. Another thing, I would have liked it, if it was more clear than I need to take a headset to listen to the audio.

There is no audio guide or any information about an audio guide anywhere. I had to read other reviews which mention downloading an app. I didn’t bother downloading the app as I’m not even sure what app I was supposed to be downloading! The trip around the lake was nice enough but only lasted just over 45 minutes. So I paid for an hour long audio guided boat trip and in fact got neither!
