The Sagrada Familia is a must see! The architecture is art and it was definitely worth having a tour guide. I toured with Olga E and she was amazing - she explained the history well, the structural engenuity of the building, and the artistic intent & representation. The length of time was perfect and we had some free time at the end to wander around.

An absolutely sublime experience! Chose the "Golden Hour" this time, having previously visited during a morning. Enjoyed sitting in the quiet section for some time admiring the architectural details and the effects of the changing colors on the atmosphere. Our guide was well informed and interesting. Handled wide range of questions well. Included the Nativity Tower this time. Well worth the extra cost for the views of the city. Spiral stairway down is very narrow, not for the claustrophobic.

Guide knowledgeable but walked too fast and talked too fast. Although s bilingual tour, she spent 90% of time speaking Spanish and only 10% at most on her English speaking customers.

Our guide, Irina, was caring and understanding of large groups. She included everyone and explained the history and architecture very well. The tour was in a good mix of English and Spanish.

- We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
