Epic LA Electric Bike Tour: Unforgettable City Sights & Ride!

Great tour for people who want to see celebrity houses! We covered a lot of ground from West Hollywood to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice beach and more. Wear your padded shorts because you will be on the bike most of the 5 hours! E bikes make the miles easy. Personally I’d like more time at the beach so be sure and let your guide know what parts of the tour mean the most to you so they can customize. If they would get set up with in ear mic for the tour I’d give it a bonus star because then we would not have to stop so much on the first part of the tour with the houses.

If you’re not from LA or just moved to LA like I recently did, I highly recommend this tour! The all day biking tour experience made me feel like I made a huge connection with LA and its history. Every stop our tour guide Erik took us, he was knowledgeable about the history of every establishments from celebrity homes, local venues, and culture. It’s a round trip starting from West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, to Fairfax. There are plenty of public clean bathroom breaks! We take a lunch break in Venice like a lil picnic with your tour crew and it’s so relaxing getting to people watch and that’s the chance you get to socialize with other riders on your tour. It’s a lot of physical and social work, a great way to also meet new people from around the world. You ride on an e-bike so you learn how to shift gear when going uphill. My full-day cycling tour with Hikes and Bikes was, without a doubt, the best way to experience Los Angeles in a single day. It perfectly strikes that balance: you're fast enough to cover a significant distance (around 50km!) and see a huge amount of the city, yet slow enough to truly absorb the sights and get a proper feel for each area. The entire process, from making the reservation to checking in and checking out, was incredibly smooth and pleasant. Everything was straightforward and hassle-free. Our tour guide was absolutely brilliant – friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely entertaining, making the whole day even more enjoyable. I cannot recommend Hikes and Bikes enough. If you're looking for an active, immersive, and efficient way to explore LA, this is an absolute must-do!

I had a wonderful bike tour with Jon. He was a spectacular guide showing us the city. I highly recommend doing this with your family when visiting. He is great with children and very attentive. My electric bike tour with Jon was an informative and interesting experience. Jon and the rest of the tour peddled with e-bike ease through areas like Beverly Hills, Bel Air, along the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice back via Culver City. Great to listen to the stories and history of LA and surrounds. Recommend.

Fantastic experience with our tour guide Josh. Loved his quirky knowledge and joy in answering our ad-hoc questions. We only had 4, so fantastic experience, but I would have missed conversations if there were a full tour - not sure how to improve except perhaps having ear-piece to hear for larger groups. If we had time, I would have loved to go in the pier. Ps - as a non-bike rider I definitely felt my butt the next day 🫣 Thank you for a great day!

Lovely tour with Jon – personable, information and fun. We packed a lot into the day but it felt well paced and Jon was a great guide managing to keep everyone together and kids entertained for the best part of 6 hours.

We had a brilliant tour with Ben. We are a family of 4 (2 teens 17, 14). We were lucky that no one else booked the same time so we ended up with a private tour. We had e-bikes and you can choose the level of additional power depending on how hard you want to work! The extra power was great for the hills around Beverley Hills and Bel Air. It was a great way to explore different neighbourhoods and learn about the history of LA. Ben was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly and he took great care to make sure we were safe riding on the roads with lots of instruction. We hadn’t planned anything for the evening so visited Hollywood walk of fame after, anything more might have been a stretch as the tour was tiring! I would highly recommend.
