We were quite disappointed to not get brisket or breakfast tacos given the title of this tour. And two taco stops seemed duplicative.

Fabulous tour! Jack was a great guide! He introduced us to fabulous dining places in downtown Austin! He sat with us while we were dining and was a very personable guy!

Come hungry cause you’ll want to try all the food- also wear comfy shoes and take notes so you can revisit some of the stops!

Great food was delicious and our guide was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Would have liked more different foods instead of two taco places and two places for drinks.

Jack, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, funny. We had a very small group so we got a lot of information and history about Austin which was great. The food was delicious and we were quite full after. We got a taste of the area and even got to see the “bat bridge” and walk through the historic and grand Driscoll hotel. We had delicious bbq brisket and baked beans to from Coopers to start, followed by a delicious breakfast taco from Vera Cruz, a delicious smoothie from juice land which was refreshing on a hot day! We had the most delicious Lebanese meat taco from One taco (very kind owner), an empanada, and a wonderful caramel flan piece of cheesecake to complete this tour. Jack took care of us to make sure we remained hydrated and comfortable. He made sure we left with restaurant and area recommendations as well. I highly recommend this tour.

Alexis was very enthusiastic and fun during our tour. She had many bits of information on the restaurants we visited and the area of downtown Austin. Loved Cooper's BBQ!

So much yummy food! Alexis was fantastic, we loved her bubbly personality and food recommendations….even after the tour was over! She took loads of pictures and even remembered us the next day at Cooper’s BBQ!

We thought the food was not special enough for a tour price like this. We both thought the breakfast taco was terrible and should be deleted. We didn’t see anything really nice other than one small piece of brisket. Also, our host was overly talkative and not conscious of the time, and wasted a lot of time unnecessarily.

Zachary was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide, leading us through six delicious tastings in Austin. In addition to the great food, we learned about some local landmarks and got a ton of suggestions for other things to do during our stay. He also took care to curate the samples for anyone with allergies or even food preferences (like no cilantro). Recommended!!
