An absolutely amazing private walk hosted by the wonderful Vilma. From meeting at the Post Office to the completion, Vilma was engaging, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. To learn so much about the Portuguese in Goa was so interesting and the fact that so many of the buildings remain intact is quite extraordinary. It was a very hot day that we went for the walk, but was at a pace that enabled us to experience and soak up the atmosphere of the area, the bakery where we ate Pastel de Nata and had tea to the end home, which we were invited into, and serenaded by a local musician, who was very talented as well as being shown around the rooms by the owner, explaining how long it had been in his family and a bit more of the history as well as artefacts. I wouldnt hesitate to do this tour again as well recommending it to any visitor to the area. Vilma's recommendation of where to try a ros omelette, was so good too. Thank you Vilma for an excellent tour and imparting your knowledge,

We had an amazing experience on this private tour. Vimla ji was exceptionally detailed in her explanations and ensured we were well taken care of throughout. She was patient and engaging, even with our toddler, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable tour.

Took the fontainhas🏘 heritage walk with the very talented and fun storyteller Rachna from Make It Happen, she was amazing and her way of storytelling is very fun, the way she takes facts and weaves them into a story is really plausible 👏be attentive as its not just a listening - listening walk but a talking - talking walk with these fun questions, the beautiful picturesque neighborhood is a must visit place and if you'll want the colorful❤💛💚💙💜 house to come to life than a storyteller is a must. Thank you Rachna and Make It Happen for the beautiful experience (bonus: she's a great photographer, make her take tons of pictures 📸)

This tour was very insightful, especially for me as a Portuguese. It gave me a deeper understanding of the colonisation that took place in Goa as well as the richness of Goan culture. Alita was a wonderful guide, and I highly recommend this tour 100%!

I had a truly memorable walk with Yashasvi in fontainhas. She brought the area to life with her stories, giving us such rich insights into the chapels, local traditions, food, and culture. In the end, we even enjoyed a refreshing glass of kokum juice — a true taste of Goa — while listening to soulful music by a local Goan musician. The combination of history, culture, flavors, and music made the whole experience soul-touching. If you want to feel the spirit of Goa beyond just sightseeing, this walk with Yashasvi is something I highly recommend.

Fontainhas Heritage Walk with Rachana. The Fontainhas Heritage Walk was indeed a beautiful and interesting one. Rachana did tell us abt the History of Panjim and how it became the capital of Goa. She also told us abt the Portuguese houses present there. Every small detail was beautifully conveyed. She also took us to this beautiful cafe which offered us delicious sweets. We also went to an Art Gallery. Our walk ended with Mr.Francis singing to us in different languages, he is totally a fun person. It's was indeed a wonderful experience.

Enjoyed the Fontainhas Heritage Walk. The evening stroll was perfect, with scenic views, rich history, and local culture. Highly recommend hiring a guide for the best experience. However would recommend to go during daylight.
