Mike Hicks was our driver and Winston was our horse. Mike did a great job humorously describing the history of Charleston. The ride was about an hour and we got to see and hear a lot about Charleston.

This tour was fun. There are different routes assigned to each carriage randomly by the city after the tour has started. You can’t pick your route. Our route missed a lot of the big attractions i.e. the Battery, Rainbow Row. The guide was extremely informative and knowledgeable. It was great experience. Jordan our horse did a great job!

Very pleased with the tour! I will definitely do it again. Loved how Donald told all about Charleston and he also answered all the questions very professional.

We had a great time! John and Rex were the best! Very entertaining! I highly recommend this company! One of the best parts of our trip!

We took a carriage ride through Charleston, South Carolina, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our horse, Ron, was such a gentle giant, and our driver, Justin, made the experience unforgettable. He was not only funny but also incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historic facts about the city with just the right amount of lighthearted humor. The 90-minute tour was the perfect length and gave us the chance to see so many beautiful spots that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on foot. I was completely captivated by the charm and history of Charleston. This was hands-down my favorite activity during our trip, and I would highly recommend it again and again!

Had a great time exploring Charleston with my daughter. It was our first day in town and it gave us a quick overview of the city.

This tour was adequate, but not the best tour we’ve ever had. Apparently there are several different routes assigned to each carriage randomly by the city after the tour has started (you can’t pick your route). Our route seemed to miss a lot of the big attractions i.e. the Battery, Rainbow Row. The narrative was informative but not particularly engaging. We did the boat tour of Fort Sumter the next day, which cost the same and was twice as long and twice as interesting (due in large part to an excellent Park Ranger guide named Kaley)!

Perfect way to get acquainted with the story and sites of Charleston! Carol (our guide) was fun, knowledgeable and had such a beautiful connection with our carriage horse Brian. This majestic big guy was so well trained and Carol showed us so many beautiful sites while sharing great information and guiding the comfortable carriage through the city. All the staff were very professional and the horses are well trained and cared for.

Enjoyed seeing so many homes and other structures as well as hearing about the history of Charleston. We will definitely do the carriage tour again if we return to visit!
