You only need to pack an overnight bag for the night stay in Machu Picchu. Leave the rest of luggage in hotel. Unfortunately we were not advised of this. So we lugged all our luggage to MP which was cumbersome and not necessary. We were asked to pay S/18 for each bag. And this was a stressful. Otherwise, all the guides were fantastic.

We loved the 6-day “Best of Peru” tour! Highlights were learning about Inca culture, the train to Machu Picchu, visiting an alpaca farm, and taking a dip in Lake Titicaca. The tour was well organized, and the guides were knowledgeable and attentive. When a train ticket issue came up, it was resolved immediately with an upgrade.

Wonderful trip. Visited multiple cities in few days. Recommend it to anyone who wants to see Machu Picchu and learn the local culture.

Best bang for your buck, we were able to do so much for the time we were visiting. This is a very go go tour, not much down time but completely worth it. All the tour guides throughout the trip were versatile in different languages and had expert information, plus very friendly with great recommendations. Only downside to the whole trip is paying for toilet use at some rest stops, also no toilet paper at most bathrooms/not allowed to flush. But this is pretty normal for most of South America so just be prepared for that. Really happy to have had David as our tour guide for majority of the trip too he was amazing!

This 6 days tour is a must-have travel experience if you have limited time schedule, but still want to learn about Peruvian culture and Inca history. It covers the historical cities such as Cusco and Puno, and world famous Machu Picchu. The tour guides are very knowledgeable, responsible and kindly. Highly recommend this tour.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) booked our trip to Peru with Machu Picchu Latin America. They booked all 6 days from landing in Cusco and travelling to the Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. Every single part of the trip was exactly on time. From pick up at the airport to early morning pick ups for each day. Pick up from each tour was always on time even if the tour ended a bit early or late. We were never left waiting for a pick up, which was very important for this trip. The guides were all good. Gary at Macchu Picchu was great. He didn't rush us and allowed us to take as many photos as we would like and explained in detail the history of each place we visited. The vehicles used were always comfortable and there are enough stops along the way. The only thing I could have done without was the aggressive merchants at some of the souvenir shops. The bus ride from Cusco to Puno was long, but the bus was very comfortable and we could easily sleep. Lake Titicaca was worth the long bus ride. It was beautiful and very interesting. The hotels were all good and we always got rooms next to each other or close enough. If I had to nitpick about something, it would before the trip started, I would have liked to receive a bit more information on hotels, pick up times and scheduling. Most of the information was provided, but I did have to ask a few times for certain information. This was a small issue and Fredi always responded to my questions. I would definitely recommend using Macchu Picchu Latin America for your Peru trip.

Great experience. Specifically liked our tour guide Michael, who was very no-BS (no vague references to deities) about his explanations while also keeping the atmosphere fun & jovial. My only note is that there was some confusion between myself and another person in another group. This underscored some disorganization at the agency, so I would strongly recommend you double check everything the day before via WhatsApp, where they are quite active

My 25 year old daughter and I enjoyed the machu picchu tour. We started w Alexis who was so friendly and personable that only after a few hours it felt like we are touring w a friend. We proceeded on to Machu Picchu w Michael Flores. Michael was very knowledgeable about Peru and Inca history. He was so knowledgeable that people beyond our group, including other tour guides, were listening in on his talks. I very much recommend this group for your trip to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.

Very much over priced for the quality of the hotels and the transportation provided. Just because it’s a new country we have to buy through this company as it is very confusing to organize all by ourselves but if you do some more research it is half the price that we get it all arranged and definitely better hotels than the ones provided. The hotels that we got are not even 2star hotels. Please be aware.
