Iguazu Falls Argentina: Breathtaking Full-Day Wonder Tour

The Nordic tour guides did a spectacular job of guiding us around the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side. For those who had a visa for Brazil, the tour could continue for a second day on that side. We did not have a visa for Brazil so we confined our tour to Argentina. The guides spoke English well enough to attend to our needs, and they took excellent care of us! Highly recommend to maximize your experience of seeing this wonder of nature!

Iguazu Falls are spectacular and did not disappoint. We were on a tour with Road Scholar that included Santiago, Valparaiso, Puerto Varas, Patagonia, Bariloche, and Buenos Aires. They did a great job and we got to see a lot. We saw the falls from the Argentina side as well as from the Jungle boat ride. Never saw anything as grand and we were really glad we went.

They were very punctual and buses were comfortable. The tour’s language was Spanish while I have booked an English tour but the guide was over all helpful and tried to explain a bit in English.

You have to do both sides of these falls because they are so different. This side gives you a great insight into the myriad of subsidiary feeds that constitute the whole as well as the dramatic main falls that you cannot see from the Brazilian side. A train takes you to the main start points but be warned, there is a lot of walking. It is wheelchair friendly in many areas but it is going to be hard work without power. It is flat but if you are walking impaired, it is going to very tiring. Is it worth it? Well, yes, most definitely as the views are tremendous and and you get an insight into the extent of the area feeding the falls. My advice if time is limited, take the "blue" route. It does get crowded particularly at the vantage points but you will get your "money shot" with a little patience.

Spectacular falls, in the Middleton of the jungle, but still accessible from a large number of viewpoints.

Met at the airport by our guide Marcos and driven to the Iguassu Falls. Marcos was exceptional showing us the best of the falls, explained the history of the area, and suggested options with no pressure to purchase. We then went to the Brazillian side and went on the boat ride under the falls. This is a must do if you go to the falls. Marcos then drove us to places off the normal tourist route and we saw the falls at sunset. He then took us to a spot lower down where we could almost touch the water. He made this day one of the most memorable of any day I have done in 20 years of travel. His company is globa travel in Iguassu.
