Breathtaking Panama: City & Canal Half-Day Discovery

Totally wonderful half day tour with the very personable Juan Carlos. He is a veritable wealth of knowledge about The Canal, Casco Viejo, Bio museum, and anything else you care to ask about. We had a great time.

It was great and timely. Carlos was on time and were very informative. He made the tour personable for us all. I would recommend it for you.

We did the Half-Day Panama City Tour with Canal Entry & BioMuseo Park Walk with Conozca Panamá Primero Tours and had a great experience. Our guide Carlos and our driver Orlando were both excellent—friendly, professional, and super knowledgeable. Carlos shared a ton of interesting context about the city and the canal, and he made sure we were positioned in the best spot to see the canal operations during our visit. The pace felt just right for a half-day tour, and the BioMuseo walk was a nice add-on. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you want a smooth, informative intro to Panama City and the canal.

The tour started on time, and pickup worked out great in Casco Viejo. Our guide Jorge and our driver Orlando were very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and they took great care of us the entire journey. The tour had perfect timing. We arrived at the canal upon opening and caught a ship making it through. This gave us time to see the level of the water change, push the ship through, and allow us to see the imax film included in the visit. From there, we visited several landmarks related to the canal, and Jorge gave us a lot of insight into the history of the canal and the country. The tour included some snacks, which was great considering we left very early. We stopped by the Biomuseo, and it started raining, but our guide provided us with umbrellas, and we were able to continue. Our final stop in Casco Viejo gave us some great tips to sightseeing by ourselves later. I completely recommend this tour and company. It made my trip so much more entertaining and fulfilling.

Jimmy was fantastic. Funny, friendly, and informative. We learned so much about Panama and had a really great time doing it. There were plenty of opportunities to grab a quick snack or use the restroom. Would highly recommend.

Our Guide Juan Carlos was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. His comforting demeanor made us feel very VIP on our 5 hour tour through Casco Viejo Old Town and the Panama Canal was by far the highlight of our day! Highly recommend!

This tour was truly amazing! Jorge was an excellent guide organized, knowledgeable, and made every stop feel meaningful. The Panama Canal Visitor Center and IMAX experience were incredible, and having the tickets included made everything smooth and stress-free. I loved the BioMuseo outdoor walk with the views of the Bridge of the Americas and the Pacific entrance to the Canal. Even with some upgrades happening at Miraflores, the tour felt seamless and well-planned. Highly recommend this experience.

Belco the guide and Enrique the chofer were great. Belco is very knowledgeable of the history of Panama and between our walks (i. e. while driving from place to place) Belco provided graphical diagrams of the history of the chanel, city, wiled life and local vegetation and views. Belco was well prepare for his tour presentations and descriptions. This half day excursion I highly recommend to take.
