Over rated massively over charged. You are Forced to buy a national park permit . So instead of costing 30,000 ARS it’s 60,000 ARS per person . But it’s not sold at that price. PLUS the COST of transport to and from the station @ approx 40,000 ARS Return. We Explained that we didn’t want to get off the train and go into the park. It would have been simple to regulate those using the park or not. Tour companies charge heavily and would cost even more. Then - Because of the time limitations on the only two return trains means you can’t really do anything ( 2 hour window) so it wasn’t worth it at all! The only positive were the views of the stark landscape albeit beautiful. It is likened to the UK charging visitors to enter the Lake District or the Yorkshire’s dales or Peak District.

Luca was an extremely knowledgeable tour guide who understood the historical nature of the national park. He was prompt to pick us up and very courteous at al times. His enthusiasm was evident as was his passion for the environment and his culture. Highly recommended.

Lago Roca view was breathtaking. However tour guide organization was awful. I would suggest to do the trip on your own.

Train trip interesting with great audio guide. Bus trip through the park had good info commentary but limited stop and walk opportunities. However overall a good experience. Arrangements hampered by confusion about pickup times and location. I had to make several calls, texts and emails to confirm but once I got the right number the response was quick.

We arrived in Ushuaia a day early for our Antarctica expedition with the intent of taking this tour. We had a wonderful time on our tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park - our guide was excellent, and managed informative narration in three languages, without us feeling we missed something. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and learning a great deal about the people who called this land home before outsiders arrived. The End of the World Train was enjoyable and informative. The recorded narration told a fascinating history of the penal colony that operated in this location. We were surprised to see all the tree stumps remaining as evidence of prisoner labor. We recommend this tour.

The train was dull. The post office was closed when we stopped by (it opened ~45 minutes later). Tierra del Fuego is beautiful, but I would recommend against the large tour bus route. The guide shared interesting information about the area, but overall I felt it wasn't worth the price.

The End of the World Train is really fascinating. I've never been on a narrow gauge railroad before. The experience is well curated--there is a loudspeaker that narrates what you are seeing, and how it was built (prison labor) and also quotes from some of the men who did the work, which was grueling and freezing, but a way to leave the prison for a time . It is not a long ride, but some of the views were amazing, as was the chance to see wild horses running free. We continued to see horses as we toured the national park, and some of the views there, especially from the post office, were really spectacular. It was a pleasant and informative way to spend a morning. Windy though so dress appropriately!

This tour had three excellent components. Today's tour started with a 2+ hour bus ride through the beauty of the National Park with several opportunities to get off the bus for scenic views and photos. The next step was boarding the train in the park to head back to town. We found the recorded narration very informative and interesting - the story of the founding of Ushuaia as a penal colony. What made this package excellent was our guide Pablo. He seemed to relate to each person in the tour group on a personal basis. He provided clear, interesting information in 3 languages in an entertaining manner. We've been with guides all around the world, and Pablo is one of the best.

What a wonderful park! We did a guided tour prior to an Antarctica trip. Got to drive thru thru park, made a couple stops to hike a couple trails. Saw some birds n horses. Great lake views. Stopped at train depo on way out and southern most post office to mail post cards

The Tierra del Fuego National Park Half-Day Tour with Optional End of the World Train Ride was an OK tour. However, it is not worth the money. The train ride is very short, > 90 minutes. The Tierra del Fuego Park is worth a visit but it is definitely not a must-see.
