Ancient Charms, Modern Wonders: Private Shanghai & Water Town Tour

We had a great tour with May, one of the best guides we've ever had, anywhere. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and really shared her love of Shanghai with us. We especially enjoyed the visit to Zhujiajiao water town including the fantastic restaurant May took us to. I hope we'll be back to Shanghai and we'll definitely book with May again!

I had an incredible day exploring Shanghai with my tour guide, Snow! From start to finish, the experience was smooth, well-organized, and filled with unforgettable highlights. Snow was extremely knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history and cultural insight at every stop, which really brought the city to life for me. With the help of a private driver—who was also very kind and professional—everything was quick and convenient. I was able to see so many of Shanghai’s top sights in just one day without ever feeling rushed. The comfortable transportation between locations saved a lot of time and made the whole day so much more enjoyable. Whether it was the Bund, Yu Garden, the French Concession, or the towering skyline of Pudong, each stop felt special with Snow guiding the way. Her passion for the city was clear, and she made sure I felt comfortable and engaged throughout the entire tour. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to make the most of their time in Shanghai!

We enjoyed our trip with Judy and our driver Mr Chi today very much. Started with a tour of downtown shanghai seeing some of the gardens and shops built to resemble Qing dynasty style buildings and tickets for a trip up the shanghai tower. We went to the river front to see the iconic Shanghai skyline and see some of the old colonial concessions buildings before going to the Zhujiajiao River town. Very picturesque and had the local food in a restaurant looking over the river bridges, followed by a boat punt and tour of the village. Judy our guide was very informative and friendly throughout and accommodating our needs and wants as requested. Thoroughly enjoyable day.

Snow was our guide today. She was well versed with the historical facts of the places we visited and we enjoyed learning facts that were completely unknown today. The lunch place that she selected served authentic home style food which was absolute delicious. The water village scenery was quite breathtaking and the ride with the driver was comfortable throughout the day. Overall, my daughter and I had a fun day exploring the places that we visited. Would recommend any first timers to Shanghai to book this tour!

We had an awesome tour around Shanghai, mostly due to our amazing guide Snow. She was so lovely to spend the day with. Very knowledgeable and gave us alot of information. Our lunch was delicious at local restaurant. Car was clean and driver good.

Amazing trip! Tour operator was super responsive and easily changed our tour to one day later when our flight was delayed. Xin, our tour guide, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, never rushed us, and knew how to navigate with ease. She knew the great photo ops, which was wife was appreciative of. She also ordered us a feast for lunch - so good. We enjoyed the water town and numerous highlights in Shanghai. Overall, great service and great tour. Highly recommend!

It is a great day with our tour guide Snow. She is very knowledgeable and patient, give us a lot of Shanghai. The lunch is very good in the water town. Our driver is safe and comfortable car. We really enjoy the tour and we highly recommend both of them.

I was in Shanghai for a day and wanted to utilize by visiting some areas. May guided me through the city to outer part of the Shaghai. Had a wonderful day. She explained everything so beautifully about the history and the culture. 100% worth it. 😊😊
