Jeju Island: Private 2-Day Bespoke Island Escape

Wonderful 2-day trip. Our driver, Lucas, was an excellent driver and a knowledgeable guide. He listened to our interests and planned a route that fit us well. His language skills were very good as he related historical and cultural details, and he thoroughly answered our many and varied questions about Jeju and South Korea

I did a super nice round trip of jeju. Lucas was extremely helpfull and attentive. He is very knowledgeable and interesting. I really would recommend him!

Terry is a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. He speaks good English and is very helpful in accommodating changes and special requests. He also gives many tips like areas where you can get things for reasonable prices. Terry is also good at anticipating what we need. Excellent driver and we don’t experience any bumps even when we go through humps. Would definitely get Terry again if we come back to Jeju. Highly recommended tour guide.

The one day tour with Lucas was great. My 82yo mother and I visited the East Side of Jeju. Even though it was 8hrs, I would recommend doing the two day. There was more I wish we could’ve seen. He is an excellent driver and very informative of the history and current state of the island. He spoke both Korean and English very well. Being my first time, I would highly recommend his services showing you the island.

A perfect choice for a solo traveler. Lucas is punctual, dedicated, and knows (and loves) Jeju. I am grateful to him for being flexible and adjusting to my schedule and whims (I wanted to see more nature). Very friendly, gives you a ton of information on S. Korea in total (statistics, too!). The car is new, clean, and smells really nice. Lucas took pictures of me everywhere we went, too. Highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to get Mr. Kho of Lucas Travels who served as our English-speaking driver and guide, especially since he only conducts tours 3 to 4 times a month. He was top notch all around, from his knowledge of Jeju, its local culture, its people, and of all the sights we visited. We thoroughly enjoyed our two day tour with him, learning a lot from him. For every stop, he gave us ample time to see each place and came up with alternatives when the weather was not quite cooperating or when a site was closed. He also gave us the opportunity to get to know him, his family, and his extensive ties to Jeju dating back for generations. We wanted to eat at local places and he did not disappoint with the two lunch places he took us to. Overall, we would highly recommend him and his company, Lucas Travels.

Jeju has many beautiful sites but they are spread far from each other, so it was nice to have a friendly driver to direct me for two days to maximize the amount I got to see. Thank you very much for your time and guidance!

It was my second time engaging Lucas's services after 10 years, and once again, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience. Time flies—and now he’s a boss! Lucas has excellent communication skills, always making sure we clearly understood the information and ideas he shared. I’m truly grateful for his friendly nature and for going the extra mile—literally and figuratively. He took us to amazing local food spots that were both delicious and affordable, and never once complained even when we ran over time. Mr. Kho (Lucas) was an amazing host. His communication was great and in a timely manner. He shared a lot of interesting facts about Jeju in general, and the places we visited. He also took us to great places for lunch and helped us with the menu and ordering. Overall, this tour was a fantastic decision and would book again if visiting Jeju. Would also recommend it to my friends and family. Side note, he also made sure we got group pics ☺️ If you're visiting Jeju for a few days, this is a great tour to cover several of the must visit places.

We had a great time being taken around the wonderful sights of Jeju. Our drivers were so knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us, we have THOUSANDS of photos from every angle! :) We were encouraged to spend as long as we liked at any stop which was so much nicer than a standard tour where you are having to move on every half hour or so to fit everything in.
