Gettysburg is one of the most haunted locations in the United States, plagued by nearly 150 years of intense paranormal activity. The hauntings in Gettysburg are legendary and widely known across the country. This small town was the site of the bloodiest and arguably most significant battle in the Civil War, which shifted the tide toward Union forces. However, both sides suffered massive losses, with an estimated 46,000 to 51,000 men wounded, killed, or missing during the three-day battle. These are the true stories of eerie encounters at the battlefield. After booking, check your email/text to download the separate Audio Tour Guide App by Action while connected to WiFi or mobile data. Enter the password, download the tour, and enjoy it offline. Follow the audio instructions and route from the designated starting point. Buy once, use for one year! Ideal for extended visits and return trips over the next 12 months

Enjoyed the audio tour in the car that we could do on our own schedule. Also being able to repeat it if we decided to while we were there or again this year. Great information. Although, no spirits were noticed, we had a great time

Once we got the hang of the tour we really enjoyed it. The stories are good and mixed with history. They paint a picture which is good in a paranormal tour. So often we read reviews for paranormal tours that say "More of a history tour than a ghost tour" but you need to know the what, where, who and why to understand the ghost stories. This has that good balance of the two. Here is our tip, even though the narrator Mark N says you can veer off trail and pick it back up easily. It was our experience that although it is easy to pause and restart it, was hard to leave the trail and pick it back up.

Hard to listen in the car, charge the phone, drive and navigate. Got lost easily, couldnt find some locations. Not the best.

The tour is more about history and gore. Stories were too long. The tour would be better suited after sunset, but the park closes 1 hour before sunset.

This is a great way to discover the battlefield on your own without time restraints. You can start anywhere you want you’d like and you can use it over again.

Not many ghost stories but not bad for the price. Nice change from walking the battlefield. Good activity for a rainy day.

Was easy to use and good experience. Took a little bit to catch up our location to where it started, but was able to figure it out. Stories were good

Definitely one of the best ghost tours we’ve done to date and we’ve done many. Our guide, Janet, has a unique approach from other tours - she bases all of her information in fact. Historical records. No fluff. No drama. No embellishment. She looks to debunk stories and retold tales, stripping away hearsay and worldly explanation first. She also helped us understand more about the show ‘Ghosts of Shepherdstown’ and how much of it is rooted in fact. Definitely watch it first if you can. We look forward to returning soon for a full moon tour and maybe even an All Hallows Eve tour - if we dare!

Needed something to do last minute with my nephew while my niece was at the college for a softball camp and this was great! It was too windy to walk around but this kept his attention and was very entertaining and not too long. Thanks so much!

I was very excited about this tour based on the reviews, but honestly it wasn’t very good. This really wasn’t much of a ghost tour, rather more of a history lesson with little bits of ghost stories sprinkled in. Normally I would have enjoyed that personally, but the party I was with wanted more haunted stories than history. When it comes to all the 30 something points where there’s audio input, we expected a lot more stories. It seemed like about 60%-70% of them were just directions. The actual tour with stories didn’t even start until around stop 13 or so. Also, how was Sachs’ Bridge not a part of this tour?! Considering how active the hauntings are supposed to be there, I was shocked it was not included! Lastly, the tour specifically says to drive 25 mph throughout the drive. Mainly because if you got to the next location too fast, it would cut off the last story and begin with the next one. So we assumed that there would be stories playing for the majority of the drive, being timed out appropriately for very little down time. We were very disappointed to find out that was not the case at all. So in conclusion, if you want a real ghost tour, look elsewhere. If you want a basic history lesson with some mild spookiness to it, then this could be up your alley.
