Cappadocia Wonders: Exclusive South Valley & Cave Tour

The Green Cappadocia tour was breathtaking! The underground cities felt mysteriously timeless, while the valley’s stunning landscapes and bizarre rock formations left me in awe. Delicious food and rich culture wove unforgettable memories—I can’t wait to return to this magical land!

Eda was our tour guide for the green tour and was very helpful in sharing about the various activities and sites that we visited. Particularly enjoyed the underground city which runs 60m deep! Would recommend this activity to travellers to cappadocia!

I love that the tour schedule was not packed. And it’s good for those who want to slowly enjoy green scenery. Our tour guide Jacob is very experienced with history knowledge and really nice. Overall it’s a great experience :)

I would not recommend this tour for a number of reasons, but as the title explains, primarily because the tour guide nearly left two groups behind on two separate occasions. Both times, the guide made no effort to count the number of persons in the group and only did not drive off because other participants notified her that people were missing. Additionally, the tour of Ihlara Valley (which was 15 euros per person) was a colossal waste of time and money. The main attraction is the churches that are carved into the valley, but they are closed due to a danger of collapse, which the guide knew ahead of time. Knowing that, this leg of the tour should have been taken out altogether. Instead, the tour thought it was a good idea to take the group on an unimpressive yet expensive 30 minute walk amongst some trees. The stop to a random jewelry store provided no value to the tour, and was merely a blatant attempt for the tour company to earn a commission. Moreover, that store is steps away from Uchisar Castle, which we would have far preferred to see. While the tour guide was nice, I would not recommend this tour at all.

​Yakup was an absolutely amazing tour guide who made our Green Tour in Cappadocia unforgettable. We visited so many fascinating places, and his insightful and interesting commentary brought the history to life at every stop. The diversity of the sights was incredible! The experience exploring the underground city was super cool and mesmerizing, and the hike through the Ihlara Valley was truly breathtaking, offering stunning natural beauty we won't soon forget. Thanks to Yakup's expertise, the entire day was seamless, educational, and genuinely captivating

We’ve read many positive reviews on this tour and decided to add it to our itinerary, and it’s safe to say that it is THE BEST tour we’ve been to in a while! Our tour guide Eda is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour, there’s never a dull moment during the tour. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the histories of the locations.
