Horizontal Falls: Broome's Ultimate Half-Day Seaplane Adventure

Absolutely fabulous experience. The pilot, the boat skipper, the guide and all the crew were so well informed and professional. The aircraft, pontoon and boats are clean and modern. The emphasis on safety was understandable and appropriate. I just hope that the State Government doesn’t ever shut this amazing experience down. It is iconic and the operators deserve huge credit for conducting it in the way in which they do.

Well worth it for the sites you see. It’s truly magical. Views were amazing plenty of photo opportunities.

What a wonderful experience! Our pilot, Jack, was fantastic, reassuring and made us all feel safe. Take off and landing on land and water were very smooth. Breakfast at the Falls was delicious and the boat ride exhilarating to say the least! This is a must do.

Luckily the weather was perfect with cloudless skies and not much wind, so that was a great start. Very early pick-up at 510am was not a problem for me. We flew from Broome to Talbot Bay where we had a very short “swim”,around 15 minutes, viewing sealife attracted by the fish feeding of the crew. A nice breakfast followed, standard fruit, cereal, some hot dishes and cake. The trip through the falls was great. I knew it was a neap tide so was not expecting much water movement, but it was still good. The surrounding rocks are very impressive. The scenic flight back was at a low altitude via Horizontal Falls,Buccaneer Archipelago, Cape Leveque and luckily the magnificent Dampier Peninsula coastline which is not always possible at low altitude .I missed the commentary as my headphones did not work, but knew where I was anyway. Very expensive day, but well worth the money.

An amazing experience with nature. Beautiful place to visit. It’s more than we expected and beyond our expectations.

The whole experience was fantastic. The bus driver who picked us up and dropped us off very friendly. Riley our pilot was great he was very informative and landing were perfect. The staff on pontoon very friendly our boat driver and guide was excellent. He was full of information and facts and our lunch was delicious. Thank you.

Absolutely worth doing! We enjoyed this bucket list tour, it was an early start but worth every cent. The crew are amazing and the sea plane out at sunrise was great. From the minute we stepped on the scales to the return flight, it was full of excitement. I can’t remember all the crews names but Tom was very informative and full of knowledge. Our pilot was also friendly and filled us with confidence. Great boat ride through the falls and amazing seeing those sharks up close and almost touching them.

Had ample time both in the air and on the jet boat to experience the falls. Lunch and swimming at the pontoon was well organised as well. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great tour and very well organized. The highlight is the falls, but even the flight in the seaplane is a unique experience.
