Beyond HCMC: Mui Ne Sunset & Sand Dunes Adventure

I've got mixed feelings on this trip as on one hand, it had some great experiences but there is no exploring a fishing village or stopping at a harbour! It was a pit stop, on the side of the road where we could see some fishing boats out at sea. The guides treated it more as a photo opportunity. They should revise the description for this part of the tour as it is very misleading and not true. The luxury sleeper bus was a fab new experience for us, and was an ideal way to start and end a full on day with a comfortable sleep on the way back in the dark. This was a huge plus for the tour. The quad biking over the white sand dunes was so much fun and I highly recommend you do this! You could walk down to the lake but nothing to do other than sit and relax post quad bike ride. The red sand dunes was nice, although you have a steep climb to the top. It was nice to sit and watch some of the sunset. The fairy stream was OK - personally, I could take or leave it as you're walking up a stream and then coming back on yourself. Nothing spectacular. However, the tour guides were fantastic! You're given a 15% discount card to use at two of the local restaurants for your lunch and dinner provided at the end was nice. They provided some free fruit and washing facilities to have a quick freshen up before eating, which was a nice touch.

We enjoyed the tour by Johnny's Tour Team. The tour guide has a great sense of humour and photo-taking skills, the views were immaculate and with Johnny anything is possible! When we were running late, he accommodated a bus for us so we wouldn't miss the tour. Thank you to the crew for their great hospitality and the cat at the office is very cute!

My college daughter, brother, his girlfriend and I really enjoyed our Mui Ne tour with Johnny Tours! The sleeper bus to the destination was nice and roomy; loved it! The staff was professional, super friendly and attentive. Loved that they treated us to lunch due to Saigon traffic going into town. Loved the free drinks during break and yummy dinner, and you had choices for drinks and dinner!! We enjoyed the serenity of the fairy stream, the white sands, fishing village, taking pics on top of the jeeps and adding the red sand dune ATV excursion. We didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything extra from vendors and staff was very attentive, flexible and accommodating. They did a great job keeping us on track to get to next destinations. We had fun in the jeep connecting Bluetooth to our music playlist. Staff was readily available to take photos for us at each of the stops. I also liked the end of day rest stop that allowed me to purchase some yummy tay ninh fruit seasonings! Loved the experience which highlighted the uniqueness of Mui Ne. Loved the staff at Johnny tours! This tour is a great value for your money and I’d recommend checking out other tours they provide all over Vietnam, Cambodia etc. great job Johnny Tours!!

Such an awesome experience! The tour was quick, private, and the best way to see the city in just one day. Walking through the Fairy Stream in Mũi Né was magical—I even held a snake and walked through the warm river water! The sand dunes were the perfect ending, with stunning views and the best spot to snap some photos.

This was a necessary chill laid back tour. The ATVs at the sand dunes was hilarious and mesmerizing. Lee was super chill and gave great information along the way! Sunset at the red sand dunes was relaxing but the Fairy Streams was the surprisingly beautiful and peaceful. Cherry on top was getting back and being served dinner before riding back to town.
