Baku's Day-to-Night Tapestry: Old City & Modern Marvels

I recently did a night time tour of Old and Modern Baku with Ramil, my guide. He was super knowledgeable, guided me through the many twists and turns of old Baku city. He taught me a lot about the history of the city, Maidens Tower, the Shirvanshah Palace, the museum of miniature books and much more. We had a little hiccup with then funicular but we ended up taking a Bolt (uber) to our location instead. That provided a nice perspective of the neighborhood we wouldn’t otherwise have seen had we taken the funicular. I thought Ramil was thoughtful, friendly, knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time n the tour and it ended up being just me! So it felt like an exclusive tour. Thank you so much! I would 100% recommend the tour company and request Ramil before he returns to France for school! Good luck Ramil!

This tour was everything I hoped for, and Ramil was such a great guide! I learned so much about Baku in a short amount of time, but the tour never felt rushed or strenuous. Ramil made sure we had a positive experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone with a limited amount of time

It was awesome . Not too tiring would highly recommend to people who don’t want to walk endlessly but still go around and get a feel of Baku. Especially for people who don’t have many days in Baku . Our guide Elcan was very accommodating. Am embarrassed to admit that I was late for the tour due to some unavoidable conditions but Elcan was so patient and helpful. He didn’t bore the group with long discussions but engaged everyone . Am happy that I did this tour

Excellent tour. We saw all the highlights of Old Town and some of the newer things in the downtown area. We learned about the history, culture and food. Our tour guide Eljan was knowledgeable and friendly, spoke good English and even took pictures for us.

This is a great way to spend a couple of hours walking around and exploring the beautiful city of Baku. Ayshen is a fantastic tour guide.

Amazing experience! The tour guide Eljan took me on the most amazing walk around this stunning city. Not only did he give me the history of Baku but also took wonderful photos. He also went above and beyond his duties and answered my questions about other tours I could take and even arrange cultural night events!

Good but would be better to avoid stops at affiliated shops and bars. They're much more expensive and sell you tea, sweets, and wine at high prices.
