Such an excellent tour for an introduction to Bogotá and the history of Colombia. Jeff was the perfect guide and had an incredible depth of knowledge in all areas. Always happy to answer questions and interact with the group.

It was a great tour. Starting on time and lasted about 2h30. A good mix of culture, food, history... Jeffer was an amazing guide.

While the tour narrative was excellent , as was the guide , the actual sites we were taken too , barely touched on the historical aspect of Colombia. A lot of focus on artsy stuff

Rafa was an amazing guide - thorough and helpful throughout. I definitely suggest going on this tour.

Tour was great! Informative on history of Bogotá / Colombia, and prepared me well for the rest of my time here. Juliana gave excellent recommendations and facts along the way

We learned a lot on the Beyond Colombia Free Walking tour of the Historic Downtown. Our guide was Natalia. She spoke excellent English, was very upbeat and kept the group excited. She spoke very well, and was very easy to understand. Her command of the English language and the information she presented made you want to listen to her. The 3 hours went by so quickly that we wished we could listed to her even longer.

Hector is very knowledgeable and he articulates well with great detail of the history of Bogota and Colombia! Highly recommended tour to discover bogota, a must do before you explore the city on your own!

I was excited to go on this city tour, as I was only staying in Bogotá for a short time but in the end some things weren’t to my liking. The tour was informative and covered a lot of Colombia’s history. However, our tour guide Lorenzo didn’t give me a good vibe. From the start, he established how we are asked to give a “voluntary” tip of 50.000 pesos at the end. He made pretty clear that it would be considered impolite or inadequate to give less. At the end, he was making people feel bad for giving less and even accompanied a guy, who didn’t have cash, to the ATM to make sure he gets those 50.000 as well. Later, we were told that a tip this high is unusual, as it was almost the same price as the tour itself. But mainly, I didn’t like how he was guilt-tripping people in front of the whole group for not giving 50.000, it just felt off.

The tour itself was good! However the tour guide Lorenzo was too much about his tip, at the end he said we needed to tip him 50,000 cop. He said that tipping less it was not appropriate. When someone from the group tipped him less he was saying ‘it’s a bit less, but okay!’ Also, someone from the group said they were out of cash, the tour guide took them to the ATM! He was just pressuring everyone to tip him a certain amount. He wanted all of us to tip him almost as much as we pay for the tour! We did not feel comfortable with that behavior and were shocked on how much he was insisting on the amount.
