Breathtaking Prague to Vienna: Unforgettable Sightseeing Transfer

We are so happy that we decided to use Sidetrip for our transfer Prague to Vienna in early December 2025. The booking process was simple and the email updates before the actual trip helped reduce the worry about what we specifically had to do. It was particularly helpful to get an email about the new requirement for timed entry tickets to the Bone Ossuary in Sedlec, which we definitely wanted to see. (Make sure you have WhatsApp on your mobile so your guide/driver can communicate with you.) The van was very comfortable for our group of five, and Michaela was a wonderful guide/driver. She made the stops through Kutna Hora, Mikulov, and Lednice fun and relaxed, and she was kind enough to take photos of our group at several locations. The places that she took us for lunch and snacks/drinks were wonderful, and her food recommendations were spot-on! We really enjoyed the trip, and wholeheartedly recommend Sidetrip and Michaela for this tour!

Our Sidetrip Tours journey from Prague to Vienna was an absolute delight from start to finish, thanks to our wonderful guide, Lenka. She was warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable—her passion for the region’s history and culture shone through at every stop. Lenka made the day feel effortless and fun while sharing fascinating details that made each destination come alive. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, with each stop offering something truly memorable. We began in Kutná Hora, where we visited the hauntingly beautiful Sedlec Ossuary—often called the “Bone Church”—and explored the medieval town’s UNESCO-listed St. Barbara’s Cathedral. From there, we traveled to Mikulov, a picturesque wine town with a stunning hilltop castle and charming streets. We even had time to enjoy a wine tasting, which was a wonderful way to experience the region’s local flavors. Our final stop was the breathtaking Lednice Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by immaculate gardens and the largest park in Czechia. By the time we arrived in Vienna, we felt as though we’d traveled through centuries of history, culture, and beauty—all in one day. Sidetrip Tours has truly perfected the art of turning a simple transfer into a rich travel experience, and Lenka made it unforgettable. Český Krumlov Was a beautiful, quaint historic town in Czechia. Petra was a great guide. She offered us lunch options in town so we could customize our time there to our wishes. We felt this was a far better way to spend our day going from Prague to Munich rather than in airports and on airplanes (or on trains and in train stations). The vehicle was spacious and had plenty of room for us and our luggage.

Jana is fantastic! She picked us up from our hotel in Prague. showed us plenty of interesting sights from the car along the way, and gave us a tour of Cesky Krumlov. Then she left us for a few hours to wander around the town (shop, eat, etc) until we met her again. She kindly moved the car to be closer to our meeting point and then safely drove us to our hotel in Vienna. Cesky Krumlov is just adorable & we are so glad we got to spend some time there. Jana is wonderful! Highly recommend!

We recently did two trips with Sidetrip. They were both wonderful and really helped us understand the countries we were visiting. Our guide Adam was knowledgeable, charismatic and very willing to adapt our trip to meet our interests and needs. We highly recommend Sidetrip!

The only way to get from Prague to Vienna. Forget the train, forget renting a car, forget hiring a car, and just take Sidetrip…but make sure you request Petra as your driver. She’s a treasure who turned our eight hour trip from Prague into a fun experience between three new friends. And the best part about Sidetrip is it turns a travel day, which is normally a wasted day, into an enlightened touring event.

Thank you Panni for a wonderful trip from Vienna to Prague. We were given suggested route options and selected what we thought worked best for us - and Panni was a wonderful tour guide. We enjoyed getting to see places that we otherwise would not get to see - a fall harvest festival in Mikulov and the beautiful town of Telc. Wonderful way to see outside the ‘typical’ tourist spots!

This was our fourth incredible trip with Sidetrip, and they've done it again! This time, Levi drove us from Vienna, Austria to Prague, Czech Republic, and the experience was just as fantastic as our previous journeys. We specifically requested a stop at the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary), and Levi not only accommodated our request but also expertly timed our itinerary so we could explore another charming small city along the way. The entire trip was perfectly planned, allowing us to see more than we expected. We had a wonderful time, and Sidetrip continues to exceed our expectations. Our driver was Levente and he did a great job. He was on time and communicated to us the exact pick up spot. On the journey we made stops to see a small artist town and a huge church as well as Bratislava. Levee gave us some history and time to look around. He was very accommodating and it was a nice way to make the journey to Vienna!
