Kingston's Soul: Bob Marley, Historic Manor & Reggae Roots

Marie and Donavan were amazing. They were very informative, friendly and pleasure. My family and I appreciated how Marie went above and beyond during the tour experience.

I had a great time touring Kingston with Marie and Donavan! I usually visit Jamaica to see family, but I never had the opportunity to explore Kingston. I learned a lot about the rich Jamaican history and culture. I really appreciated the passion and enthusiasm during the entirety of the tour. I enjoyed all of the stops, especially the Bob Marley museum. As someone who loves traveling, this was the best tour I’ve experienced thus far. The hotel pickup/drop-off was also a plus. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Marie and Donovan are excellent tour guides with tons of knowledge about Kingston, Jamaica! This was the first time my mom and I visited Jamaica and celebrating my mom’s birthday! We started w/ the murals on Water Lane. We were blown away. So beautiful and vibrant. Marie & Donovan described the setting for each mural. Marie took great pics. Next we visited the National Gallery of Jamaica. The exhibits were amazing. We could have stayed there all day. After the gallery, we walked along the water front which was a beautiful & serene view. Marie helped us capture each moment taking the best pictures. Then our dream as music lovers the Bob Marley Museum! Our tour guide Ricky was great! He was also in the One Love movie as Bob’s spiritual advisor. Very sweet of him to sing to my mom for her birthday. I became a bit overcome with emotions just entering the first room of Bob’s home. Loved the gift shops. The final stop was Devon’s House. The grounds were beautiful and massive. Probably the Jamaican patties we ever had. Followed by the best ice cream we ever had. This was the best and most memorable tour I ever experienced all thanks to Marie and Donovan. I highly recommend Onestop Cultural Tours Jamaica!

This tour was an absolutely incredible and impactful Kingston experience. I had an incredible experience with Onestop Cultural Tours Jamaica. Marie and her partner gave us an intimate, personalized tour of Kingston that brought the city’s rich history and culture to life. We visited Bob Marley’s former home, Devon House—the mansion of Jamaica’s first Black millionaire—Marcus Garvey’s gravesite, Emancipation Park, and the National Heroes Park. We also explored Kingston’s vibrant art district and even got a preview of the upcoming Stush in the Bush restaurant. Although I’ve been visiting Kingston for over 50 years, this was my first time seeing many of these sites, and it was truly eye-opening. Marie’s warmth and enthusiasm made the journey unforgettable. I left feeling inspired, proud of my heritage, and grateful for the fresh perspective this tour gave me. Wonderful tour ! Marie and Donovan are welcoming, warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Marie is super at ease connecting with local which is setting a comfortable atmosphere. That day was my second day in Kingston and I was keen too discover the city and this tour has more than exceeded my expectations. Marie and Donovan are caring and will show you with interest and passion the best spots of Kingston. I still cannot believe I walked on Bob Marley footsteps at the Bob Marley's Museum which was my favourite spot. I had one of the best ice cream I have ever tasted at Devon House.
