Climb aboard our vintage Portuguese 4x4s and tackle the best of the Sintra. You’ll explore the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira and eat a traditional Portuguese lunch (with wine, of course) before cruising off-road through Sintra’s lush forests, to emerge at the seaside cliffs of mainland Europe’s westernmost point, Cabo da Roca. Passing from hilltop castles to the sheer coastline of the UNESCO world heritage landscape. We take you to secret lookouts and hidden beaches. In summer, feel the breeze whip through your hair as we bounce along off-road tracks with the roof off. In the cooler months we keep the roof on, turn the music up, splash through puddles of mud as we swerve past house-sized boulders, pine forests and giant ferns. This is why we love to go off-road, play epic tunes all day long and give you the chance to taste Sintra’s traditional sweet “travesseiro” pastry and homemade “ginja” liqueur. Join us for an unforgettable day of adventure, laughs and local legends.

We had an absolutely incredible time on this tour. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were beyond pleased! The only thing I would change is to know that sneakers are encouraged rather than the sandals I wore. We did a fair bit of walking! Bruno had really high energy, lots of knowledge, and brought all the vibes to our tour throughout the day. Our favorite part was the authentic Portuguese meal and the more hidden spots he took us to that tourists wouldn’t normally visit. It was also a great way to meet other travelers and we made some great friends! Would 100% do this again !

Great way to see Sintra! Our adventure leader was Gui. He was fantastic. We were able to see the monuments, hear the history, have a great meal, go to the beach, the farthest most western point in Europe, and off road all on this adventure. Check the weather; temperature varied throughout the day.

I was in a group of the 3 friends and we had a great time on this tour. There were another couple in the back of the jeep with us and we all got along, Bruno helped to make everyone feel welcome - he was an excellent guide. The sites were amazing and the food was delicious. It got a bit cold and foggy towards the end and Bruno supplied us with blankets. This is a great way to see Sintra and the surrounding sites!

Absolutely fabulous tour with Bruno. Fantastic local knowledge, and extremely friendly. Very helpful as I have slight mobility issues, and this made the experience easier. Lovely lunch, and the Port en route went down very well. Would absolutely recommend, great value.

It was a great day. Ruben - born and raised in Sintra - was very knowledgeable and a really fun guide. Between his stories, the wind in our hair, the gorgeous scenery and the great music, the whole thing was a vibe. We ended up only passing the Quinta Regaleira and visiting the Palácio de Monserrate (which was a change made after booking due to changes in ticketing procedure at Quinta Regaleira apparently), but it was still really cool and the park/lush grounds were an interesting addition. Ruben was full of inside knowledge about the plants and property that made a tremendous difference in our understanding and appreciation of it. I don’t know what we missed by not going in the other place, but I’m glad we did get to spend so long at this one! Lunch was epic - fabulous and very filling. And over full plates and full glasses, we got to know our traveling companions engaging in lively conversation. The highlight for us Californians was the beach tho. Always a plus when you can stick your feet in the sand and connect with the ocean. You should note (and it’s probably painfully obvious to most, just apparently not me) that you will travel in the back of an open top jeep on bench seats off road, on winding narrow side roads, dirt roads and main roads at high rates of speed with no seat belts or helmets. Just fyi. And it ended up being more like 7-8 hours rather than 5-6 (plus travel time to/from Lisbon). So it was absolutely an all day, beautiful day in a beautiful country.

The jeep safari was a great way of seeing Sintra and the surrounding area, especially with our guide Bruno who was very knowledgeable and interesting. Our 2 teenagers enjoyed it too, especially the off roading. We saw lots of beautiful places and the lunch at Chico’s was delicious. A very enjoyable day out for all of us.

Well this trip was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon and surrounding areas, made so especially by our guide, Mario. Mario was not only extremely informative, but was obviously incredibly passionate about his job, and from my experience in travelling, this is what makes the difference between a great guide and an outstanding one. Mario's enthusiasm, along with his extensive knowledge added to the magical vibe of the whole tour, as we visited sites and areas of the most astonishing beauty. This truly was a feast for the eyes, as much as the authentic Portuguese lunch was a feast for the gut, cooked with love (you could absolutely tell)! And as if this wasn't enough, there were many delightful surprises along the way. This tour was truly memorable for all the right reasons.

We had a great time traveling through Sintra in a jeep. Our guide was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend to those who would rather not have the castle type experience.
