Val D'Orcia: Iconic Tuscany Views & Exclusive Wine Journey

Gladiator field is in the title, but wasn’t even mentioned on the tour. The wine tasting was nice and another benefit was having free time at the 3 locations.

We were able to go to all the place in the itinerary. Our tour guide, Cecile, was very helpful, informative, and clear with instructions. Easy to follow. We had fun. The Val d' Orcia is very lovely.

Our guide Jean-Marco was fantastic and provided great tips that the locals experience. Would have loved more time at Montepulciano.

Our guide, Glanmarco, made the entire journey so enjoyable with his great sense of humor, engaging stories, and deep knowledge of the region. He went the extra mile to share insider tips on the best places to visit and eat in Florence — a true gem of a guide! Our driver (whose name, sadly, I’ve forgotten!) was also fantastic — safe, friendly, and made the long drives through Tuscany’s rolling hills feel smooth and relaxing. This tour was the highlight of my Florence trip — stunning scenery, great company, and plenty of laughter along the way! Highly recommended!

Great tour of 3 towns with 2 winery visits. Ample of time for each visit. Tour guide Alex was friendly and made sure all guests were taken care of.

Fede was an excellent guide! We enjoyed every single town. We visited Monepulciano (with wine tasting), Pienza (pecorino cheese) and Montalcino (with wine tasting) It was an amazing experience, beautiful views, history, and obviously delicious wine and Tuscany local Food! We highly recommend this tour. Some tips: be punctual, time is really precious in this type of trips. Also, bring confortable shoes because there are a lot of steps and elevated streets.

This trip covered everything on the listed itinerary. The bus ride was pleasant with many things to explore on each stop. My only complaint was that I had booked the English tour, while instruction was given in English, our poor tour guide had to also give the tour in Spanish and Italian which meant that she had to divide her time between three different languages within one group. This was very unpleasant due to the fact that she had to talk for what seemed to be forever to cover everything for everyone… eventually I stopped listening, because it was overwhelming on an 11 hour tour.

It was great value for the price. It was a long day trip but the multiple stops provided lots of opportunities to explore, eat and see lots of different locations. Tabatha was a great guide!
