Assisi: Saint Francis' Path - Soul-Stirring Day Trip from Rome

Absolutely superb experience! Beatrice arrived in a beautiful late model Benz AMG and instantly connected with us. She and treated us like family and impressed us both with her professional driving skills and extensive knowledge of the area. Upon arriving at Assisi, she handed us off to Sarah who not only took us around to all the sights we wanted to see, but was able to give us a university level crash course in the history of the place. 100% recommend going with this service!

Mother-daughter trip to Rome was enhanced by this trip to Assisi. My mother is 79 and we rented a folding scooter. Having a private driver was a plus. Prompt pickup in a Mercedes minivan, we travelled in comfort. However the highlight was our driver Beatrice. Archeology scholar, exceptionally knowledgeable and charismatic. Most importantly her amazing care of my mother, truly touched my heart. I highly recommend this tour company. If your lucky to get Beatrice or Andrea then you’re in luck.

I would definitely go back to Assisi again and maybe even stay a couple of days. Our driver was awesome, he was flexible in meeting us when we arrived in Rome and he is a great driver. We felt safe and comfortable and enjoyed talking with him. He gave us tips on what to see and where to eat in Assisi and they were very helpful. The gelato we had in Assisi was our favorite of the whole trip and that is saying something because we ate a lot of good gelato everywhere we went. Don't miss the castle! It's at the top but SO worth it!

Alex Paolini was a fantastic host for our trip to Assisi. Very knowledgeable, courteous and kind. He was kind and brought us waters and snacks for our trip.

This tour was a 10! Alex made sure we had a truly memorable day. We saw every church we wanted in Assisi. We could not have done it without his knowledge, planning and driving! He was so considerate of this mostly older group. And a masterful driver through heavy rainstorms back to Rome. We would all definitely use him again.
