The transportation picked us up from the hotel on time and took us to the harbor. The weather was cloudy, and it started raining heavily almost immediately during the outbound journey. Because of the weather, we couldn’t really see the scenery on the way there. Onboard the boat, a light breakfast was served, which was a very pleasant touch. Fortunately, the weather cleared up when we arrived at the first island, and from then on, the sun shone beautifully. The islands themselves were lovely, with nice beaches and even monkeys roaming around. One thing we wish we had packed was mosquito repellent. On the last island, while climbing to the viewpoint through the tropical forest, there were quite a few mosquitoes. Overall, despite the rainy start, the trip turned out to be a sunny and enjoyable experience with beautiful nature and wildlife.

Scenic beauty is godo. Good tour but overall quality of the boat, its amenities could have been. The lunch on boat was extremely basic. Its written all drinks and snacks included but also very basic. I have taken similar tours in Phuket at similar cost but the standard is so much better.

Overall tour was good but we paid for the sea kayaking and felt unwell so gifted our purchase to a lovely young couple who didn't realise you needed to book. Unfortunately the person in charge refused to let them go in our place even though it was paid for in full by us. He was very rude. It was just ridiculous the way he behaved and ruined our day.

Beautiful marine park and well organised trip including return transfer from hotel, but experience spoilt by shear number of people - the company had 3 large boats each packed to the brim and all following the same route. We paid extra for snorkelling and kayaking - snorkelling confined to small roped off area but due to the volume of people in the water it was futile. Similar with kayaking - we skipped this as just too many kayaks to make it pleasurable! The trek to the viewpoint is physically demanding (around 2,000 steps up and same down) but the views were spectacular and made it worthwhile. Staff were pleasant and helpful and lunch was good. Free drinks all day was a bonus

Great tour, and fun guides. A little hectic at times due to the amount of people from other excursions as well, but overall a great experience.

Picked me up, took me there, looked after me, fed me, talked the day through to us, took us to breath taking places and then even dropped us off back at our hotel. Perfect

A very crowded boat. A long trip for only short and overcrowded stays on 2 islands. The nature park looks more like a Disney park. Snorkling for what…? Treat yourself on a great lunch on the island and safe yourself a costly overcrowded trip.

This tour is worth every single penny. The trip was very well organised. The food and service was exceptionally high despite catering for so many people. The hike in the National Park is very very hard but the views are definitely worth it as is the climb to the Emerald Lake. We paid extra for the Kayaking and the entire family had fun doing it (I have teens and a 6 year old). Highly recommend. The only warning is with regards to sea sickness. Be prepared, the sea is choppy.

We were travelling on a budget and picked one of the cheaper boat tour options to Ang Thong National Marine Park from Koh Samui – and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our entire trip. The tour included pickup and drop-off from our accommodation, which made everything super easy. When we arrived at the boat, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a light breakfast of muffins and bananas before setting off. Our first stop was the main island of the national park. It was absolutely stunning – we had plenty of time to hike to the viewpoint (which has breathtaking views), cool off with a swim, and even grab a fresh coconut on the beach. It was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. After that, we headed back to the boat where lunch was served canteen-style. It wasn’t fancy, but it was surprisingly delicious and very satisfying after the hike. Next, we stopped at a second island for snorkelling. All the gear was provided, and the water was super clear with loads of colourful fish – such a fun and peaceful experience. The real stars of the trip were the staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke great English, which made the day feel even more welcoming and stress-free. All in all, this tour was an absolute gem – especially for the price. Beautiful locations, great food, well-organised schedule, and lovely staff. Couldn’t recommend it more – if you’re considering it, just go!

I think that it just took a long time to get from the big ferry to the smaller long boats and then to the islands. It takes a little over an hour to get from the harbor to the islands and another hour back. You couldn't really snorkel on one of the islands because there were so many rocks and it was too shallow and water wasn't that clear. It's best to just sit in the water to stay cool or sit on the beach.
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- The tour will proceed despite the bad weather as long as it is still safe to do the activities.
- What to bring • Suitable shoes for trekking to the viewpoints • Towel • Sunscreen lotion • Extra clothes for changing
- There are 6 viewpoints on Wua Talap Mountain. You must have a reasonable physical strength to walk up to the top viewpoint (500-meter height). Along the way, if you feel it's too tough to go to the top viewpoint you can choose to visit only the first 2-3 viewpoints.
- You must bring a comfortable pair of shoes for walking up the viewpoints. Sport shoes are recommended.
