Unforgettable Cocora Valley Hike: Salento's Palm Paradise

Absolutely BREATHTAKING worth every sweat drop. A must when visiting el Eje Cafetero. The hike to the observation points can get a bit steep at times but it’s SOOOO worth it. Highly recommended!

Cocora Valley lives to its name, definitely is one of the most memorable places that we've visited. Hot Springs in Santa Rosa by the incredible water falls is also world class. Of course, our guide David Alvarez is the best tour guide, we've seen them all, we ever had. David is not just a tour guide who shows you around the attractions, he is determined to bring the best of Columbia to you. David's professionalism and knowledge of Colombian history are second to none, and he is very polite and courteous as well as the best travel companion one can have. I highly recommend David for your trip to Pereira, Cocora Valley and Santa Rosa.

It has been a truly amazing experience with David. We saw natural wonders together and thanks to his help we got to learn a lot more about the details and the true story of all the places we visited. He is not only knowledgeable, but also loves what he does, and he truly cares about giving you an authentic experience. AMAZING from start to finish!! We were picked up from our hotel and our driver Gustavo was so friendly and made us feel right at home! Jazmin, our tour guide was awesome- even brought coffee with her in a thermos for us to have during the hike! She seemed to have a great relationship with all the locals and she explained everything thoroughly and was super fun to spend the day with! We lucked out and had amazing weather, so the photos we took don’t even look real! I’d absolutely recommend this tour if you want a great time! We saw Cocora Valley, rode a Willy, and saw Salento! MUST SEE!!

This is a great tour! David is an amazing tour guide! He did a remarkable job! We learned a lot from him on this tour. Cocora Valley is very beautiful! The coffee tour was fun and very interesting! Gustavo from the coffee farm did a great job as well! We picked up few coffee beans from the trees & they showed us how to make a perfect coffee! I couldn't ask for more from David and Gustavo! I would definitely recommend both of them to anyone! This is an unforgettable experience in Colombia!

we booked this tour from Pereira and was a nice option to visit Salento and the Cocora Valley. You will be picked up in a nice car with, an amazing tour guide, and the experience as a whole is 5 stars. Do not forget a training jacket and walking shoes.
