Roberto was a great guide. Definitely one of the most unique tours we have taken - very knowledgeable and we loved the personal stories he shared as he is an Antigua native. This was a good tour to take on your first day as it helps you get your bearings in the city and know where you want to explore next.

This was a fun activity that lets you get a lay of the land. This was our first activity on our first day and super helpful. Roberto was our guide and he was awesome. He kept us entertained the entire time. We also continued to bump into him throughout our stay in Antigua and he always provided us with recs and tips each time we saw home. We love him!

It was perfect. Felix, the guide, was very knowledgeable and flexible about what we were interested in. We walked around the town square as he reviewed the history of Antigua, from the 1400s to the independence of Guatemala, then we toured some historic buildings. We told him we were hungry, so we stopped at a lovely cafe and had lunch. We also toured a Jade factory (bought something small) and he introduced us to Ruth, a Mayan woman who makes beautiful textiles. We bought a really nice one. Bargain! Offer half of what the seller asks for! This company also arranged the transfer from and back to our ship -- everything handled efficiently and with a smile. Thank you, MB Guatemaya Travel!

This was an amazing experience. Fidencio was well informed about everything he discussed, tied it to the history of other countries, and compared dates to significant events in our country’s history. I would take the tour again just to see what else he could share. It felt like we blinked and the time had passed. This is a great tour to take!

Felix was hands down the best tour guide we could have asked for in Antigua! From the moment we met him, his warm and personable nature made us feel like we were exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend rather than just a guide. His expertise on Antigua’s history and architecture is truly impressive. Felix brought every colonial building, church, and cobblestone street to life with fascinating stories and historical context that we never would have discovered on our own. He has a gift for making history engaging and accessible, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and depth. We learned so much about Antigua’s rich past, from its colonial heritage to the earthquakes that shaped the city, and gained a real appreciation for the architectural treasures around every corner. Felix’s passion for his city is contagious, and it made our experience unforgettable. If you’re visiting Antigua, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Felix. You won’t regret it – he’ll transform your visit from a simple sightseeing trip into an enriching, memorable experience. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you, Felix, for an amazing day!
