Wonderful 2-h walk in Killarney National Park, Richard is very knowledgeable and told us a lot of stories. Relaxing walk, good with kids.

This was a great way to explore the national park! The walk was relatively leisurely with only a few minor hills. Most was paved, but we did explore off the path a little. Our guide was born and raised in the area and the park was where he used to frequent as a child and all through this adulthood. We learned about the history and got to see some unique sites we would have missed on our own. We also enjoy the wildlife! We saw many deer and a type of cow that almost went extinct until being brought to the national park. One of the deer even almost came right up to us. It was just the right about of time but we loved seeing the beautiful sights from a trusted local!

You don't need a guide . You can walk the park without one. Saw a few cows but no deer. Very little communication along the way. Very pleasant guide.

Richard was a wonderful guide -- knowledgeable, humorous, and kind. We asked endless questions about the flora in Killarney National Park, and he patiently answered each one and gave us even more information than we knew to ask for! Our walk was blissful quietude, and we'll carry memories of fairies and Ireland with us always.

We loved our walk through the National Park with Richard. We were the only ones who booked the tour, so we were able to ask questions and learn about the history of the park/Killarney. Richard was a very capable guide who knew his way around the land. We were able to see stunning vistas and tons of red deer! I was sad to learn that the dog mentioned in some of the earlier reviews of this business has passed away, but the three humans did well on our own.

Richard and 16yo Dahi were superb guides. Even sang to me! Tour was in Irish but they translated for us. Lasted three hours. Gorgeous scenery. Need to be in good hiking shape. We got wet and muddy. Loved it!

Everyone in our group really enjoyed walking through the park and listening to Richard Clancy who grew up in Killarney. His passion for the area is quite evident. He even broke into a song that Johnny Cash wrote about Ireland “Forty Shades of Green”. We loved our time on the tour.

Richard took us on paths through Killarney national park that we wouldn't have found on our own. Saw deer, egrets, heron etc. and very few people. Recommend long pants and hiking shoes.
