Incredible detail showing the impact of communism on everything from food to architecture. Detailed storytelling on how it came to be and what happened in the aftermath of the revolution. Worth every penny!

Wonderful tour. Mihai did a great job explaining much of the history of this era, particularly about the revolution. This tour was the highlight of our visit to Bucharest. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand contemporary Romanian history.

Good price, 3 hours was the right amount of time. Group size of about 7-8 was perfect. Easy walking distance. Most importantly, the guide, Mihai, was excellent in his presentation and commentary. You might recommend that guests view a few of the YouTube videos of the events of December 1989 before the tour to get a sense of the time and sentiments of the crowd, which will be especially when talking about the final speech on the balcony.

Andrea led us through historical sites in Bucharest while sharing the history with us. She personally lived through the revolution years in 1990 and had great insight and stories. I highly recommend her and this tour for anyone interested in local history.

Very nice experience. Mihai's comments were very interesting but always objective and respectful of different opinions. I strongly recommend this tour

Highly recommend anyone visiting Bucharest to do this tour. It's a great way to see the city and understand it's communism past, and impact it still has today on the country. Mihai is an amazing tour guide, and you will have a fantastic time, as we did, walking round the city. Don't hesitate to book.

Andreea was our guide. She was extremely engaging and knowledgeable. She spoke perfect English. She was able to bring the tour to life by including accounts of personal experiences during the regime and those of her family. She patiently answered extra questions.
