We have done soooo many bike tours on our travels and this was one of our favorites!! They provided ear peices so we could hear the guide at all times. This was an excellent upgrade to our previous bike tours. Carson our guide was awesome, we covered 24 KM and saw so much of Auckland. There were opportunities to go fast if we liked and that was so FUN! My only suggestion is bring water!! Highly recommend!

Great way to see Auckland and learn about its history. Thank u Carson for a fabulous tour. Easy location for cruise ship passengers- and a good option for a day tour. Highly recommended

This was a great way to see Auckland. This was my families first time on e-bikes and they were super easy to use and a great help up the hills around the city and up to the top of Mt. Eden. Carson was a great guide, he was a very safe leader and gave us good information along the ride through a radio earpeice

Very worthwhile and interesting. Highly recommend it. Saw neighborhoods you wouldn’t normally experience. Very informative.

Great fun ride around the city. Loved going up on top of the volcano. Our tour guide was so informative.

Carson is a great guide and a very interesting person. The ride itself was reasonably easy on the bikes and interesting because you get to see a lot of Auckland, but Carson made the whole experience great. Safety training was thorough and the bikes were newer and well kept. Informative and you get restaurant recommendations for the various neighborhoods which isa really nice touch and why you should schedule this first!

Carson was amazing!! First of all he didnt cancel my tour, as I only booked few hour before, biggest suprise ( different guides do this all the time), second - equipment is first class, not to mention my freezing hands were provided with gloves as winter temperatures are something different😅, he saved me! Had the best time, and highly recomend. Thank you. I wont mention the views- that’s what you need to experience.

Such a fun & easy way to explore the city. Carson was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, accommodating and fun! The bikes were so easy to use. Would definitely recommend this experience for anyone visiting Auckland.

- Whilst experience riding an electric bike is not necessary (we'll provide an orientation and we'll do a test ride to make sure you're comfortable before we head off), you must of course be able to ride a bike! If you haven't ridden in a while, for your enjoyment/safety and that of your fellow riders, we strongly recommend you have a practice riding at home before your visit to Auckland. As well as riding on our wonderful cycleways, we will of course be riding in the road at times (to get to the good places!). Riding in traffic is a dynamic environment, so you will need to be comfortable riding in the road in order to enjoy the tour. And Auckland's volcanic past means that there a quite few hills to go up and down - the eBikes make going up easy, but you'll obviously need to be able to ride downhill! If you’d prefer a shorter, easier ride along Auckland’s beautiful waterfront - check out The Easy Rider, one of our other tour listings!
- Closed toe shoes are required. Sports gear not necessary, casual clothes are fine but dress to the conditions please.
- Free storage available for small bags at the city centre departure point.
- The tours run rain or shine, you will be provided free use of a bright and comfortable rain jacket, if you need one.
- Our electric bikes are designed with a maximum weight capacity of 250 pounds (113 kg).
- We recommend you bring sunscreen - the sun in NZ can be very harsh.
- You may also wish to bring a bottle of water with you for the ride. You can store that in the bag on your bike. The is also a water fountain near our departure point - if you need to fill up your water bottle.
- Whilst we welcome solo riders, this experience requires a minimum number of riders booked in order for it to go ahead (2). If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll either be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
